Looking for Up-to-date campaign movement sub-mod
Hi all
just getting into Attila, new laptop XD
for rome 2 i enjoyed DEI. but using the reduced campaign movement sub-mod was a must, (the city hopping seems a bit silly).
been looking for a 'reduced campaign movement submod' for FotE, could only find 2, and none of them work:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfil...paign+movement
(*outdated* does not specify it is compatible with FotE, game crashes when trying to start up)
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfil...paign+movement
(*outdated* specifically designed for FotE, optional 12TPY, has NO effect on campaign movement range)
these the only 2 i can find in steam workshop
anyone know of any other FotE compatible mods that reduce campign movement?
any help much appreciated.
(im willing to try editing files myself if somone can point me to correct files)

you can change movement points manually there are programs that can select columns and easy edit but idk if you want. u must edit every single unit in game to work afaik.

Re: Looking for Up-to-date campaign movement sub-mod
Hi shadow thanks for info. i did some digging around and found pack file manager programs. downloaded what i assumed was one for Atilla, but on opening it is only good for rome 2.
this actually seems quite fun, not as daunting as it first seemed
so now i just gotta find the correct (and up to date) Pack file manager for Attila.
if anyone got any info on the latest 'PFM' for Attila id me mighty grateful XD

by the way fote mod hasn't completely reworked all units, mercenaries have special abilities while non mercenaries don't and some bugs like horse skirmishers primary weapon is melee so you can't skirmish.

There's only one version of PFM. Just click the "Game" option in the menu at the top and pick Attila.

some quick help for you.
Open ...fote_0.pack
Land_unit_tables but idk if mercenaries are in this table.
Then look for "campaign_action_points" and thats it.
