As for your problem. Go to steam and do the following:

1. Left click on medieval 2 total war
2. Properties
3. Set launch options
4. fill in: --features.mod=mods/retrofitMP

You can change the retrofitMP part to whatever the map of whatever mod is called.

Sorr for the delay, but Russia will have to replay his turn anyway. Also, till I send the files, I might know what your problem is: Try to edit the config and the .bat file with notepad, and check if they search for the files in the right directory.

The are two other things you can try if the first two I and saleska said don't work.

Two: You just dowload a M2TW from the internet, possibly from a torrent (You bought the game, you should't feel any shame at all if thats generally a problem for you torrenting games ) and you can use it without steam and that way everything should work just fine.

This is all the files of Retrofit, which you have to deposit into the /mods directory.

Just unzip it, then copy paste it. But if something's not working, check all the tips I and saleska wrote before! or just search it on google
