This mod looks very nicely done. My preferable faction would be Lannister.

All spots are filled and the Hotseat shall begin later tonight, so the RP may begin. In terms of time period we begin roughly a week following the passing of King Viserys I, however only the council of King's Landing knows this truth. For the rest of the Realm they have just received this letter from the Grand Maester in King's Landing:

    ---------------------------------------

    Lords and Ladies of Westeros,

His grace, Viserys Targaryen has take his last breath, may he rest in peace. The King’s last words were of his son, Aegon the Elder and how he will make a great King. And so fullfilling the last wish of the late King the Queen Mother, Alicent Hightower and Viserys’ advisors have seen that his son and heir has succeeded him. All hail his Grace Aegon of the House Targaryen, the Second of his Name, King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm.

    Signed,
    Grand Maester Orwyle.

An opening post of RP is expected for each faction within the first 3 turns.

    Lannister turn 1 - http://www.mediafire.com/file/jeijg6...annister_1.sav

A quick suggestion to make: I advise that no in-game messages of any importance should be sent during turn one as all players will be able to view them.

Two ravens on the same day, almost at the same time. It was no coincidence, Tyland was always one step ahead of him when it comes to the diplomacy and this time it was just the same. Jason Lannister, Lord of Casterly Rock and Warden of West was standing in the main hall and gazing through tall windows towards the sea, streching out into the western horizon. His left hand was resting on the cold wall of his mighty castle, one of the greatest and strongest in all Westeros, while the right one was holding two messages. He knew Viserys is old, but he didn't expect him to die so soon, or did he? Jason was always an ambitious military men, always ready to fight in the middle of the battlefield but in the recent times there weren't many battles. "Perhaps things will change now,"

While thinking about the future, he didn't hear footsteps approaching until suddenly a known voice spoke right behind his back "Greetings brother, I see you are deep in your thoughts. I am bit surprised really, the role of a thinker doesn't suit you very well." The voice belonged to his younger brother Tyland and there was a little smile on his lips as Jason turned around. Both brothers hugged as they have always done since they were small - they were brothers who were also a friends since they were toddlers and thanks to their rule Lannisters became one of the greatest houses in Westeros. "Quiet as a mouse, it's surprise really you didn't become a spy" Jason teased his brother.

"I am a spy, kind of" replied Tyland, still smiling a bit. Slowly his face became darker as he lowered his gaze towards letters resting in Jason's hands. He knew them very well and he wasn't very satified with the news arriving from the capital. The Kingdom was at peace for quite some time, there were no great battles fought with the exception of small skirmishes with bandits and Ironborn but with Viserys Targaryen death, this peace will certainly come to an end. "I presume you are happy? War is now ineavitable - this Aegon is not the only claimant of the Iron Throne, in fact many of us or rather our ancestors had swore their oath to Rhaenyra and all won't forget that oaths. But whom should we support?" carefully said younger brother and finished his speech with a question that would not be easily answered. A lot of time have passed since there were any oaths made and many of those who have swore them are already dead.

"I do not care really whom we support as long as I have some battles to fought" replied Jason. Tyland raised his eyebrown and Jason was forced to laugh "That's the answer you were expecting, isn't it?" Before Tyland managed to said anything Jason turned back towards the gray sea and the blue sky and spoke on "But really, both young Targaryens means nothing to me at the moment. By sending those letters they won't convince me to their cause - I need to see action brother. House Lannister will support the right ruler of the Iron Throne and that is one who is an capable commander and...

... a clever diplomat" finished Tyland and both of them nodded in agreement. For a moment both brothers stood in a silent before the tall narrow windows. Slowly both brothers turned around towards the door like they always did when Jason visited Casterly Rock – study room was the place where they talk about the future of their house, not this place. The great hall, which was once the seat of their Kingdom, stood empty with the exception of two guards wearing red plates and red coats at the doors plus a couple of servants in the corners. Pillars adorned with golden roaring lions stood as proud as the Casterly Rock itself on the both sides of the hall with the big throne in the shape of a lions head with its tongue as a seat in the middle. Nowadays the throne was empty, Jason rarely sat on him while holding official meetings with lesser lords or foreign dignitaries but in the past it represented the heart of their Kingdom now long gone. "I think we won't have to wait long. I wonder though who will be more persisent in their demand for loyalty, new King or Queen..." was thinking Tyland loudly as he was walking with his brother on his side. Servants opened them the door and as two lords left the silent fell back on the great hall.

House Tully was allways a strong supporter of the targaryens since the days of Aegon the Conqueror. As a reward for their loyalty he gave the Riverlands to the Tullys and named them Lord Paramounts of the Riverlands and the Trident. However Aegon is dead and the most brutal wars of Westeros is about to begin.

With the death of King Viserys the houses of Westeros are taking sides for whom to sit on the Iron Throne. The news of his death arrive at Riverrun however lord Grover Tully is old and ill so his family calls for a metting.
"King Viserys is dead" sais Elmo Tully the heir of Riverrun
    "How?" -Steffon Tully
"Natural causes apperently. Before he died he appointed Rhenyra as his heir refusing to change the line of succesion.Soon as she found out of her husbands death Queen Alicent called the small council to appoint King Viserys's oldest son Aegon. They say that one of those old man refused to crown Aegon as his king and Criston Cole cuted his throat."
"She wants our support doesent she?"-Kermit sais
"Well damn her then our family swored an oath to Rhenyra she is the rightfull ruler its her birth right"
"And how her birthright will protect us?Aegons brother has the largest dragon in westeros we are next to his lands we would suffer the most in this war and for what?" -Steffon sais
"Is this your sugestion bend the knee to Aegon and that of a queen? The king appointed her to rule the laws of succesion are clear."
"The laws of my fist on your face will be clear as well"-Steffon
"Silence all of you!Whatever our decision there will be war and we need to prepare.Call the banners i will give you my response at dawn."
Elmos uncles leave the room leaving him and his son.
"What are you going to do father?Whatever I do one thing is certain there will be fire and blood"

As I recall Luume made some 'Lore/Roleplay' for the HS. Your heir is the FL's uncle or something? He's rebellious and thinks He should be the Lord of Riverrun.

"More wine brother?" Lord Borros asked.

"I'll not object," Davos said, holding up his cup. "A fine red, although I must confess wine is not my area of expertise."

"Arbor Red." Lord Baratheon gestured, and his serving man poured. But for the servant, he and Davos were alone in the Great Hall, at a candle lit table surrounded by darkness.

"So," Davos took a sip, oddly enough he didn't hate the wine. He was never a fan of wine. "are we ignoring the news brother?"

Borros rolls his eyes, taking his cup and drinking deep.

"Dragons." He took another swing. "I say leave them be, those lizards, nothing but trouble."

Lord Borros covered his mouth and belched. "Father would've rallied the banners for the women no doubt," he said, thinking of his departed father. "but I'm not father. What do we have to gain?" Davos Baratheon had enjoyed the meal for the most part, his brothers fondness of wine and talk of war aside, they supped on oxtail soup, summer greens with pecans, grapes, red funnel and crumbled cheese, hot crab pie, spiced squash, and quails drowned in butter.

    "More wine?"

"No." Davos gestured the severing lad away, "I couldn't drink or eat another bite."

"We've had word from Highgarden." Borros put his cup aside.

Davos's mood quickly turned sour. "Why ruin a good dinner with talk of roses?"

"Ah but this," Borros put a finger over a neatly folded parchment. "is news of a happier kind my dear sour brother!"

Davos signed. "Aye, and what news is that?"

"A tournament!" Borros slammed his cup on the table, crashing loud as thunder.

"A tournament?" Davos replied, a single eyebrow raised in question.

"Aye!" Borros was overjoyed with a wide smile on his lips.

"That," Davos paused. "is rather odd. In times of war no less..."

"A tournaments as good as any way to keep the troubles of those dragons off ones mind, don't you think brother? How anyone sleeps with the threat of giant lizards flying over head." Borros had only grown a wider smile as he spoke. "Have some of this cheese Dav, it goes splendidly with the wine. Tell me, will you do me a favor?" He asked his brother as Davos pushed the cheese aside. He was quite full, of more than just the food it seemed.

"Have I ever refused you brother?"

"I suppose that's so," said Lord Borros admitted. "your as loyal a kinsmen as any man could hope for."

"You flatter me, brother." Davos adopted a dark smirk. "I do so hate these games."

Borros held up his hands in mock surrender and laughed loud enough to wake the dead.

"Cass wishes to attend the tourney and see Highgarden." He explained, his smile dying steadily. "Although I protested, you know how the girl is..."

"Ours is the Fury." Davos shook his head at the thought of his niece.

"Aye!" Borros raised his cup high.

"It could be a trap brother..."

"A trap?" Borros asked, scowling at the mere thought.

"The flowers could seek a hostage to force us to side with them in the war."

"That my dear brother," Lord Baratheon pushed his wine aside. "is why you'll be going with her."

Davos Baratheon agreed to escort his niece to the Tourney at Highgarden that Lord Tyrell was hosting, taking with him a large honor guard and countless doubts as to the Reaches intentions. It could be a trap. Or it could be that the Tyrells have the same thoughts as his brother, ones of peace, and staying the seven hells out of the thrones affairs. What mad man would seek battle against the flying beasts? Not the Baratheons. Unless they were provoked...

I'll do some RP once I know exactly where certain characters are going, as I hear that Highgarden is hosting a grand tourney. Tyrell is Up! - http://www.filedropper.com/dotdtyrell1

Inside the Great Hall of Pyke Dalton Greyjoy sits brooding over the reports detailing the death of King Viserys. His younger brother Veron enters through the massive oak and steel studded doors at the entrance of the hall.

He approaches his brother wearing a menacing scowl. Dalton motions with two fingers for his brother to approach and announce the reason for this intrusion. "What news do you bring brother?" "Have we any word from the capital?" Dalton leaned back into the Seastone Chair and began rhythmically tapping his fingers on the right arm rest.

Veron slowly started to tread restlessly across the richly colored Myrish carpets sprawling across the ground. They were a small portion of Veron's recent haul from off a trading vessel captured a few miles from where the young krakens were presently seated. Veron was a man of few words but now he offered a poignant response. "No, there has been no word from either camp. However, an offer has come from another house that presents opportunity" Dalton suddenly intrigued leans forward and delivers a demanding "What?" Veron slowed his pace and locked eyes with his brother for a moment. Then he glanced down and continued "It isn't safe to deliver such information now. We will have to speak of this in more private quarters." His eyes darting across the room and landing harshly on every servant girl or guardsmen.

Dalton visibly annoyed but aware that there are always prying ears and eyes to match. "Fine, we will discuss such fortunate opportunities later." "In the meantime, I've heard that Lord Loras intends to house a tournament in the south. I wonder why he would stain such joyous occasion and reputation with the aftermath of the King's death." Veron face contoured into a ghastly snarl before he declared that "The reachmen host this tourney to discreetly gather their lords and levies in one place. The stormlands intend the same by accepting this invitation. The tourney is nothing more than a lame attempt to justify the gathering of men. In all likely hood they will march soon after the conclusion of this supposed tourney."

Dalton already consciously aware of this but still attempting to entertain his brother's thoughts only offered a response of "But to where?" Veron pondered the likeliest move following the tourney. "Their intentions remain unclear but I believe they will declare for the Queen." Dalton not shocked by such speculation or the implications merely offered a response of "Perhaps we should join them?"

Veron had no love for the green landers or their schemes. "That is what grandfather would've done. He was always a sympathizer for her cause and claim. But he is dead and I piss on the old man's loyalties. We've received no word from either camp so it seems they're unconcerned by us. I suggest we remind them why our raiders have brought destruction to lands spreading across the horizon." Veron slammed his fist on the table and swatted a goblet across the room. "We pillage all lands left vulnerable and stake our claim on the lands of these weak lords."

Dalton remained calm as he rose from the Seastone Chair and grasped his brother's shoulder. "We will wait for a time at least to see how each house declares. In the meantime tell the fleet to make ready and command our captains to gather their men." Veron cautiously questioned his brother's intentions "What is the point if you intend to wait?"

Dalton threw a glance at Veron and ended the conversation with "I intend to be ready to make way the moment there is an opportunity to capitalize on." "Now do as I command brother and find me later when the task is done so that we can discuss the other matter from earlier." Dalton picked the goblet off the floor and placed it on the edge of the far table. He threw one last look at Veron before retiring to his chambers. The coming months would define his legacy and Dalton was eager to see his name etched forever in the histories of men.
