    It could be, could be not.

    Wait for these guys. Everything they do, anything they release, is worth the wait.

    Besides, this mod is going to get updated after it releases. The only thing is that it needs to be released. That's going to take some while.

    I wish I could contribute my maps, but all of them crash in TED when I try to save them.

    Not necessarily. When AE releases it'll undoubtedly be imperfect and probably quite buggy. It'll probably also be missing features.

    Even after AE releases it will likely not be a greatly fun or well-balanced mod and certainly DeI will be a far more polished and enjoyable experience until AE has had a year or more of community support, playtesting, development and tweaking to make it a truly great mod.

    Just please don't hype things up here. There's no guarantee that anything will live up to the expectations that the wait has created.

    I had the same issues two days ago. I reinstalled the assembly kit after a back up and all works now. If you still have the ted files, and are willing to contribute any work, you can send over to me to fix the issue. Of course all credit will be given to you. Just looking for as much content as possible while the campaign guys finish their work.

    Yeah I won't hype it up since I don't know much anyway, but I all I want is this mod being released. AE will need a year of development anyway that's true.

    I have the TED files with me, I saved and uploaded several maps, before it started to crash. I'll try backing it up, but I can't guarantee anything. TED will crash when you press save as after you filled out everything. Let me get something up and I'll message you to the rest. Its often crashed before, so a major re-installation might be needed. I can save the maps, but they won't be visible as map packs as going to that stage requires a lot of saving and then crashing.

    No problem – if you have time: all that is needed is everything that should be located in these two folders:

    Assembly kit/rawdata/terrain/tiles/battle/assemblykit/your map folder name (ted file, height map file, etc)
    Assembly kit/rawdata/terrain/tiles/ak_tiledatabase/tiles/your map xml file
    (I think I got those paths right, as that is just going off of memory)
    This would be a HUGE contribution to the team and tremendously appreciated

    Not a problem, but the maps haven't been updated so much. I'll keep making maps and keep sending them here. I can't find an attach button here. Have a try and see what you think.,

    I've not done any AI deployment stuff, since it's been a while I've touched these maps. Have a look, and see what you think. If it's good, then great.

    @servant - From your comment on page 6, yes all of the screenshots posted here will be on first release. If we have them completed, possibly before as a separate pack to go along with the custom battles.

    We are in desperate need of minor settlements for barbarians, and or large city generics with active rivers for Rome, Greek, Eastern(Persian), Egyptian and Barbarian. For barbs, it would be wonderful to have dinstict differences between celtic, Germanic, nomadic and Iberian.

    I reversed engineered the file format and discovered how to add custom maps to the campaign. The tool I developed to modify the file is being used in AE but it is not yet publicly released.
