Another update; the Sabaeans and Pergamese were made playable, some tweaking with units. A 4.8 patch is on its way.
Also new banner icons and factions icon to present the factions.

These new icons are relatively simpler and streamlined compared to previous ones, with better contrast.
The novelties of this upcoming patch are the conversion of the scipii family into the sabaean faction, that populates southern arabia, numidia is replaced by the Mauryans, which starts at the right corner of the map, and laters, The roman senate, quite a troublesome faction to integrate, that is now rebranded as the Pergamese, a faction once displayed on the very first version of catw, as well as the illyrians and galatians.
The Pergamese are basically given a hellenistic style roster, with some specific units like the Pergamese and Lycian hoplites. More on this to come with the release of the patch.

Hi, I'm not able to access the domain ancient-battles.com and CATW 2.0 just doesn't work for me.

Hi ArcticWolfPrD, ancient-battles.com's server was targeted by DDos attacks and out of commission for days. Now it's up again.
catw 2.0 does work only for those who still uses the disc version of RTW, that's why i'm basically rebuilding the mod for steam now.
By the way, i just released today the latest update of catw 04, called 04.8. The Mauryan and Sabaean faction are now fully playable in campaign and there are lots of modifications.
    You can download it here

Tested it, works fine so far with one exception: Custom battles menu is not working. Whenever I select any kind of troops or faction in any number and try to start, the game takes me back to the Faction selection screen and going to the army selection screen again is not possible. The only option left being going back to the main menu.

Indeed ActicWolf, it works ! Thanks for the tip.
Not for custom battles in Alex though, some googling necessary. But the thread was updated.

If you use Alex exe, add the -noalexander modifier to the shortcut properties. Then custom battle menu will work.

    It works indeed, thanks Xantippos.

I also added extra Alex stuff (like night battles) and new units, in addition to many other modification (check the updated thread's log). The latest and final built called 4.9 is up. Spent hours to tests various campaigns on Alex.
Now i'm gonna focus on the "normal" catw (catw 2.0).
