Having gone home for christmas and stupidly left my Kindle at Uni, where I was reading 'Sieges of the English Civil Wars' by John Barratt, I am now reading my paper back copy of 'History of the Peloponnesian War' by Thucydides, as Ive never really gotten round to it.

Maybe this is a bit of a diversion but do you read military history books to help you play the TW games or out of general interest?
Welcome, Beavertronius. I recently began Vanessa Collingridge's Boudica; I'm motivated by a mixture of general interest, playing an Iceni campaign and as background for continuing my Iceni AAR (After Action Report), Andraste's Children.
Thanks for your reply Alwyn! I would also highly recommend Manda Scott's series of books on Boudicca and the Iceni - a brilliant read
Thanks, Beavertronius, I'll look for Manda Scott's books.
