Playable Faction List for DeI

Hi, thinking of returning to R2 and this looks the MOD to play.

Is there a list of Playable factions anywhere or are they all unlocked ? thanks

All the vanilla ones...

plus:
Lugii
Masaesyli
Saba
Nabatea
Cantabri (will be replaced by Edetani in 1.2)
Taksashila (an Indian faction, representing a province of the Mauryan Empire)

In 1.2, we're adding a few more. Check out the preview threads for those.

Keep in mind that playable factions are the most fleshed out so it is better to play as them.

You'll have to download a specific All Factions Playable submod for DeI - you can find that in the official submod thread in this forum.

You also won't have chapter or victory conditions as a faction from an AFP mod, and some politics may not work correctly.

guys, congratulations for progress, i'm checking out all new previews every friday
I have got a question. As KAM 2150 says, playable factions have the most fleshed out rosters.
Is numidia going to have a overhauled roster (different than 1.1 version) like lusitani, arevaci, pergamon, arche bosphorus etc. ?
are all playable factions going to receive a overhauled roster like the ones I have mentioned ?

They already got the overhaul long time ago. In 1.2 all playable factions will be overhauled. Some unplayable will probably share some of the units.

If you have any good, source based, new units for Numidia then please share

actually I have some new units, and ideas for new ones

I am following DeI team's progress and Numidian roster has not been renewed for a long time, as a Numidian enthusiast I want to make contribution so much if you accept
Besides I truly believe that we should refresh numidian roster, they deserve more importance than kush or nabatea

Could someone be more specific about what are the differencies between regular overhauled factions and factions in e.g. All factions playable mod? I mean besides the known fact, that there are no victory conditions or roster is less detailed? For example as you mentioned politics or some other problems? I ask because there are a lot of factions, that I would love to play as, but they did not received so much of a love

Rosters (although this is less the case now with some being more fleshed out) and chapter objectives/victory conditions are the obvious ones.

Starting characters will be another one.
