    That looks fresh. Nice!

    ~Wille
Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

One comment, your spanish names like "Lanceros" or "Monjes Militares" arent historical names for units, they are just translations from english. For example, "Lanceros" is not a unit, is just "spearmen" in english, or "Caballeros", means "Knights" in spanish, Maybe you want to change it to be more accurate o realistic.

I'm not sure but it seems like your ballesteros are using arrows instead of bolts. Otherwise, good job.

I fully understand your choice to combine the military orders from your references. It looks awesome well done!

Fixed some coloring issues so there are no 'generic' colored tunics, and they all match the red, white, yellow, black color scheme I have chosen for Castile (the low-class units had this problem).

Used different tunics on the caballeros to make them look richer, like men who could afford nicer, more colorful clothing, also fixed the VMDs so their equipment matches better.

Also new officers that I didn't get a good screenshot of and I need to post later. I hate Attila's stupid 'mood' filters

Prepare your body for Tier 2!

Officer for Knightly orders based on Tomb Effigy for Frey Martin Vasquez de Arce (I know the effigy is from a later period, but I altered the equipment to be in period for the 14th Century. I did this because I had a better idea for the Tier 3 officer that I wanted to use instead).

Great job. The unit roster has a true Southern European feeling.

beautiful work so far, very promising! one request however (please do not take this the wrong way or anything, but being a Spaniard myself I feel the need to ask). Why did you only use dark hair to depict the Iberian people? I understand there are a large majority of southern Europeans with darker features compared to northern europeans, but we also have a decent assortment of blonde and red hair genes. If my words aren't enough, take another look at some of the reference material you're using that depict the iberian/visigoths from the time period.

overall its not a big deal, i'm just curious as to why there is a lack of diversity of hair color?

There isn't a lack of red or blonde hair. I don't know what you are talking about.

There is a lot of variation in the units. Perhaps just the ones visible in the screenshots happen to not have blonde or red hair. I just came back from a trip to spain two months ago, and I'm well aware of your country's Gothic heritage. Similar to what I did with KJC, there is a mix of some darker-skinned (eastern) skins as well as roman, nordic (they are the only skin model with blue eyes), and german. There are also some with red beards (though that I made that more rare with this faction), and some with blonde, and some with dark brown.

Thanks very much! The whole area of central Spain from Zaragoza down to Toledo is one of my favorite places on Earth, plus I really admire Spanish culture and history. It's very important to me to make Castile a historical and beautiful faction for this mod.
