Thread: some mods not working, strange problem...

    Icon5 some mods not working, strange problem...

    So, today my game started giving me a new kind of headache.
    First I had 2 mods conflicting, but it was (seemingly) simple to merge them and fix that issue.

    However, after starting the game over, another of my mods simply stopped working.
    I have been through all my mods, and I can't find any other conflicts, it simply did not work.

    So I tried the trick with renaming the files with an @ in front to change the load order. Now my mod works fine, but another mod stopped working.

    Do any of you, oh wise people, know what the **** is going on with my game?

    Without knowing what kind of mod they are and what tables they have, I would need Specialis Revelio.

    Sorry, I guess I should have included that

    The first ones conlifcting was "AI Buildings and Army Composition" and "Stupid Campaign Agents - Aggressive AI Begone!". They both modified the cai_personalities_budget_allocations_tables table. So I simply added the changes from the smaller Stupid... to the other and saved it as a private mod.

    That apparently made another of small mod stop working. This was also one I made myself, just a simple Skillpoint mod that only changes character_experience_skill_tiers_tables. I can't find any of the other mods I use that change that table...

    Anyway, so I renamed the files in that one with the @ in front, to see if that made any difference. It did, now my mod worked, but for some reason it made "Tier 4 Minor Settlements" not work. This is where I get very confused.

    The rest of the mods I am using are:

    Improved Vampire Counts Garrisons

    Military Resource Building Bonuses Factionwide
    Better Auto Resolve
    Felicitous Taxes
    Prometheus` Better Trait Triggers

    Hopefully this alleviates the need for spells

    I... I would have been confused too. Now, I don't know exactly what tables the T4 thingy uses (outside of the usual buildings_ and slot templates stuff I guess), especially I am confused why those skill point mods tend to mess so easily with any others, it's not the first time I hear something of the sort. I would try and skip that one for the moment, just in case it's the building mods that are having a sudden row.
