I can understand you saying that. However the idea of role playing is forming a character in all of their choices. So I don't really see whats bad about simply entering an event, willing to interact but not actively going to people to interact. body language being the leading element I meant with the text. None simply starts doing their story when they come by the house threads either.

I'll see about changing it for this time.

Wsn't trying to single you out, this is something that everyone does and I find it extremely annoying. If I hadn't taken the initiative in about every thread so far we would all just be milling around looking at things and not talking.

I'll also add that adding details about body language, clothing, demeanor etc will not at all be affected by adding in a small line at the end of a post indicating that you have started a conversation with someone or have greeted someone.

Just to inform everyone, I'm generally not near a computer on the weekends. Besides that my brother is terminally ill so if I'm suddenly absent for a longer period of time it will most probably be that. Rhapture knows about this in more detail and I will most probably inform him. in the event I then have a important office, feel free to remove me so someone else can take over. Since we don't have an absence thread I'm posting it here

No longer than two days. I plan on closing it out Thursday night at the latest and posting the Curia. We can get the game going for real basically once all the votes are cast.

I also think it is incredibly important to point out that not every male character in this game is a Senator. Senator has a specific definition that I hope everyone is aware of.

the way voting really works in this game is that we are ignoring the comitia because its too complex and people hated it. Instead we are counting the vote of a single senator as that senator's vote, and the vote of all his clients/followers (who would be voting in the comitia).

So why can't all my characters vote then?

Someone who isn't a senator wouldn't have an extensive client base, so only his single vote would matter. What we're talking about with single senator votes is not a single vote, but a voting bloc. Non-senators don't have a voting-bloc
