Well actually, you own the branch of the gens, Julii Caeser, Julii itself is a clan with multiple families including the Julii Iulus. I'm under no obligation to consult you for anything. I suggest reading how the various Roman names work, for future reference.

Julius is the dynasty/surname, you taking Julius means you are trying to play as my relative/relation.

Julii is the clan man. The family surname is Ceaser.

Jky is playing the Julii clan with the Iulus surname. Different families. Different Surnames.

Julii is the gens, or clan. Yes, technically it is a relation but in reality it is distant. You don't get dibs on the whole Gens because you signed Caeser.

And to be perfectly honest, I declared my intention to sign the Julii Iulii, the family I played in the last YATS, long before you decided to sign a character that there is a 200% chance of you absolutely ruining. You don't own squat and I have no obligation to you whatsoever.

The battle is going to be posted within two hours. After that, I will look to see if the Senate has passed anything regarding defense of the city and do rolls to determine the effectiveness of the strategies. Timestamps will put Carbo arriving outside Rome approx 13 hours ahead of Pius.
