My hero died and there is now wife ruling instead of him. But she is not on the map anymore. It is kinda bugged or what, only dead father and sons are visible. Now I want to marry this son but I can not. Fortunatelly he has a bastard.

Is it known bug for you?

Historical Description(Some of the new units):

    Legionis Mattiarii iuniores (comitat)

The main weapon Mattiarii were plumbates - small darts. Plumbatae etymologically contain plumbum, or lead, and can be translated "lead-weighted [darts]". Martiobarbuli in this translation is mattiobarbuli in the Latin, which is most likely an assimilation of Martio-barbuli, "little barbs of Mars." The barb implied a barbed head, and Mars was the god of war.

Drawings on the shield - correspond with those in Notitia Dignitatum, and which relate to the Mattiarii iuniores (West) - Legio Comitatenses.

There will only be a change of the units, or think about a total change of the game?

Wow, such a huge project! Thanks for your hard work!
After reading these update notes, I started to wonder what are those famous legions will be like (Iovani, Herculiani, Cornuti, Petulantes, Brachiati, Celtae and so on ).

I also noticed that Roman officers and standard-bearers haven't been overhauled yet. Are you planning to overhaul them later? Will you add individual standard for each legion?

Hi. This is great project, i like it. But i am finding it as Roman player mod. I supose barbarian factions and Huns should have more power, and make more mess around. West Roman empire is too strong, east too weak. But i supose that depense from many factors how camaign will go, so cant be sure about it. Anyways, cant wait for update, and will test it with plesure. Good luck, great job.

Congratulations for this great work. It will be an exceptional mod !!! If I may make a suggestion, the provinces of Dardania and Macedonia should be assigned to the West empire, since they went to the East only in 395. For the rest very good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thank you!
Yes, of course, all the famous legions necessarily be present in this mod! We also replace officers, standard bearers, but a little later.

Thank, we will definitely make historicity units to the east and barbarians. But you will have to wait until we finish all Romans units.

    That's right!
We have not yet changed the map and provinces properly. Later, we will replace some of the names of cities, provinces, more historical, give them necessarily fit the factions.
Thanks for the information, we will check and do it right.

    Historical suggestions for historic mod
You could change the name Robbers in Bacaudae
It was a mixture of outlaws, independence, peasants, slaves, heretics (Donatists in Africa) that gave life to numerous riots, looting, abductions etc. Mainly present in Spain, Galia, Britagna, Africa.

The degree of readiness and the number of new units in mod.
Green color - ready, blue will soon be ready.

    The Roman line troops
Two types of armies, one of which with its division into castes. Each entry type is not one unit, and a large group of units of the group one class! The basis is the number of unit-sized cohort, equites: 300 people, not military units - a Legion, auxilia and so on. in 1000-5000 people! Placed below the finished units at the increase of military authority, from the simple to the complex.

    Limitanei - frontier army
Milites - 16 units, Numerus, legionis - 49 units, Auxiliares, Equites, Cuneus equitum

Comitatensis - field armies; Army under Emperor
Comitatensis: Legionis - 15 units, Equites, Cuneus equitum, Comites
Palatina: Auxiliares, Legionis - 15 units, Equites, Cuneus equitum, Comites, Schola

    Separate types of units
    Bodyguards - 5 units, Engineering - 5 units

    ----------------------------------------------------------
    Units of other factions
    Townsfolk- 4 units, Robbers - 3 units

    Total new: 104 units
