Visitors Fork Over a Fee to See Italy's Churches - latimes
Notre Dame Normal entry Price: Adult: €10.00.In your country, pay €2,50 to visit Santa Cecilia in Trastevere. But like many of Rome's churches, our churches won't charge admission.
Btw, you comment is completely irrelevant to the discussion. The Portuguese Constitution enshrines the inviolable freedom of belief, religion and worship, and also the separation between the State and the different religious communities,The French Constitution is the only one that defines the State as secular, and, in my opinion, and in the opinion of many scholars, the French "laicity of combat" is obsessive and ridiculous.

Your beloved Front National disagrees,

I know, we also have a Concordata. Our basic education law guarantees both the freedom to learn and teach and also the freedom to be taught
any religion practised by the respective faith community. In other words, it's not just the Catholic faith, the legislation extends this principle to other faiths, so that they may all be deemed to enjoy equality of opportunity and treatment under the law.
I see nothing wrong with that.I'm just a mere agnostic, not a fan of atheist churches or the French radical secularism.
In medio virtus.
