Game does not work ?

Hi I am new, what did I do wrong ?

I installed Empire total war, then I installed this mod. I open steam and start the game. But to me it looks like it is the old empire total war that starts and nothing has changed.

So what do I do wrong ?

and what is launcher ? is it something I need to install or is it just the empire total war icon ?

and I have only installed darthmod empire v8.0 platinum to see if it works. What did I do wrong, please help ?

Ok looks like I have missed an icon on the table so I did open the game with the old icon. Now the game works. But why can't I still not choose Denmark ?
