    That's a good start. Some improvements:

    1) Remove the helmet. No Makurian sources attest helmets, and indeed they would have been a pain in the ass in the arid desert of lower Nubia. Instead, add a headband or a Copitc knittering with headband, like what this guy wears:

    2) The chainmal should stretch only to the elbows.

    3) The boots should stretch to the knees.

    There will be variations of warriors without helmets, with headbands, and bareheaded. I know it may not be 100% historically accurate, but for aesthetic reason, I'd like to have some of them wearing helmets.

    Im glad with you decision to give some makurian knights helmets, for aestetycs.

    Do you plan to rework kwarezmians, or they're cataphracts will stay like this ?


    I think you can make them better, just as you did with ayubids. But its up to you.

    One more question. Do you plan to release it after finishing rework of Ayubids and KoJ? I suggest doing this, as you will attract more people to your project when they 'taste' units.

    Of course I will! It won't take too long till I start working on my favorite factions like the Khwrezmians, Seljuks, and Ghorids (middle Asian warriors!)

    Yes I will.

    My plan for release FOR NOW:

    . ERE (finished), Seljuks of Rum (finished?), Ayyubids (finished), KOJ (work in progress) - first release

    . Seljuks of Iraq, Abbasids, Georgia - second release

    . Kipchaqs, Armenia, Khwarezms - third release

    . Ghorids, Ghaznavids, Makuria - fourth release

    . other factions


    Btw, how many people want this mod for 2.4.2?

    In my point of view, I think the jerusalem units of the film are much prettier. Is an aspect of the knights with the big shields, the cavalry of ibelin and the one of tripoli. Are really beautiful units and you can not get a single mod on these. That you are well clear. You could be the only one on this planet to make those units as they should be. Haha sorry for my English

    Well, let's see what others think about my decision to not base Ayyubid and KOJ on Kingdom of Heaven. (Although it's kinda too late)

    yes yes, what a pity it is too late, to settle for kingdom of heaven lol. I have been looking for a mod so but I have never found a unit equal to the movie. It would be great to add the music too. When the troops march that sounds the presentation of the army as it was so epic in the film in the castle of kerak

    Makurian units that you showed are very good looking (I'm not a specialist in historical accuracy), keep on this great work! I hope some day I'll be able to see them on battlefields of Westeros

    Those are great knews, as kwarezmians, ghurids and ghaznavids are also favourite factions of mine. Cant wait to see them properly done with high quality models.

    And yes, I would like it to be on 2.4.2
