Hello everyone, somebody should have known me from my infamous Kami Total war aka anime shogun 2. This time, I will make a submod that will cover Dai Viet faction in Morning Sun version 3.1. It had been ages since I last update this page as well as the last time I mod something for Shogun 2. But as I get free time and motivation lately, I decide to fix some issue with the mod and made new textures for units and re-write my page in twcenter.

- Make it workable with Morning Sun version 3.1. Now we will replace the Bozhou clan in the main campaign map. How awesome is that

-Key features:
+ Replace Bozhou clan as Daiviet. Daiviet will start from Bozhou original province
+ Add an unique roster of Vietnamese troops.

+ The Vietnamese name is messed up.
This mod wont be possible without the Morning son 2.7 mod from uanime5 and the research material from facebook group Đại Việt cổ phong. They have my utmost appreciation.

I will continue to make new models, change clan banner, units first and wait for morning sun 2.4. Then I will remake the Cen clan and make them playable in tutorial campaign as Đại Việt.
Regarding elephants it's probably not possible to add it. Though I haven't tried adding an ETW elephant into this mod. It will only be possible if the ETW animations work or I can replace them with S2 animations.

Maybe I wont use that since many people say nón is not commonly used till later period. And yeah if you could help me with anything, feel free to do that.

Yeah I use 3ds max. I can make that hwacha but who's gonna animate it?
I have play this mod before as korean faction, as u can see this was one of the few ETW models left in Shogun 2 that didn't look like a cannon. This model was the rocket launcher from the Rocket Ketch. Perhaps i think it should be enough for animate, and this only needs to be remodel as real Hwacha.

If I make it a fixed artillery unit then it won't need any animations. The vanilla version has loading animations for units, so I can use those.
Edit: just checked the file types for artillery and I see what you mean about the animations. Not sure how to make all the rigid_model, rigid_model_animation, and animatable_rigid_model files needed. The official tools have the files for a mangonel but I don't know if you can make a Hwacha model and let Shogun 2 do the rest.

Yea! That's a model from a Chinese mod which used old models from the mod All Under Heaven (MEDIITW Kingdoms). And the AUH mod just made an official preview for Daiviet faction.
AUH mod is one of the place I get the rough idea too, but they are in the Lư dynasty I think. Not the time period portrait in the game, which is later Lê.

As far as I know, you should ask The_Yogi about the model since he manage to convert or port the tank from a ww1 mod for ETW/NTW into shogun 2. I dont know how to convert all those files since they gave us only cs2 exporter.
