All units "fire at will" (simple mod)

Hi, a few years ago I played Napoleon Total War with a simple mod that made all infantry units using "fire at will". So they didn't shoot in volleys but everyone who was able and ready to shoot did so - just as militia units in ETW if I remember right. I don't know if its historic or whatever but I felt that made this game so much better for me personally. Sadly I cant find that little simple mod. I think I can remember that it was actually only a minor tweek in the game files needed to reach this effect.

My question: Does anyone know a mod or maybe this mod that I use or does anyone know what I need to change in my game files to reach this effect. Sadly I cant remember more details.
