What do stonemason's hut + logging camp actually do?

As the title says what do stonemason's hut + logging camp actually do?

Do they reduce construction costs or give the bonus given in the building description?

From what I've noticed playing so far, they literally decrease cost of buildings.

I though that may be the case... I guess were supposed to build them sooner rather than later then to get the most out of them!

I think they also increase chances of receiving an invite from the stone masons guild

So how come the descriptions are broke? By what actual percentage do they reduce construction cost?
