Information Thread for Potential New Orcs and Goblins Units
The Greenskins are considered by many to be the scourge of all civilization. These tribal warriors are violent in their tendency, raiding ceaselessly, carrying war and barbarism to all corners of the known World. Time and again, hordes of Greenskins would arise without warning and lay a great swath of destruction that has no direction or purpose other than simple violence. Indeed, the Greenskin race single motive is violence, an ever increasing mass of warfare that has the potential to dominate and cover the entire World in a seething green tide.

GoblinoidsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:Goblins, usually called Gobboz by their Orc cousins, are the smallest and perhaps the most numerous of the Greenskin race. Goblins often live on the cast-offs of other races and frequently thrive in the shadows of the Orcs. They are a miserable treacherous race of petty thieves and vicious cutthroats. Goblins can be found just about anywhere, but are often divided up between several distinct sub-species that are fairly unique in their culture or physiology than the more common Goblin.
Fanatics = "Goblin fanatics are drug-crazed followers of a particularly nasty goblin cult. The fanatics use the legendary goblin ball and chain; this is a purely fantasy weapon - not the ordinary inoffensive morning star type of thing used by medieval knights, but a huge solid metal ball suspended on a chain several feet long. Only a creature with absolutely no regard for the dangers of a slipped disc would even look at such a thing!"

Freaks = "This was such a freak. The new goblin's skin was a pasty grey, not any one of the vivid green shades a proper goblin's skin should be. Its legs were short and stumpy, its arms were too long, and its shoulders unnaturally broad. It waddled as it walked." Mutant goblins.

Common GoblinsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:The Common Goblin can vary greatly in size and habits, but all of them are universally small, scrawny, nimble, and evil. Since most Orcs are too lazy or dull-witted to do anything other than fighting, Goblins are often used as the primary labour force for many Greenskin tribes, often doing menial acts and labours such as hunting, building, herding and crafting. While they lack the size and brute strength of the Orcs, they are far more cunning and intelligent. Goblins possess just enough intelligence to craft simple tools and build crude buildings, traits that are usually nonexistent to most Orcs. Nevertheless, due to their weak and cowardly behaviour in a society that only respects strength and brutality, Goblins naturally don't possess a powerful position within Orc dominated tribes.
Gobbos = Goblins form a deprived and abused underclass in goblinoid society and are deployed with callous ruthlessness by orc warlords. Can also wield; Spears, Shields, Light Armour, Great Weapons, Halberds

Forest GoblinsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:Forest Goblins are a distinct breed of forest-dwelling Goblin species that are known to in many forested locations within the Old World. Similar in both culture and appearance to the Savage Orcs, the Forest Goblins have in a sense, degenerated into a primitive shamanistic culture that revolves around the spiritual veneration of the Giant Spiders that have made the forest their home. The origins of the Forest Goblins came about around the age known as the Time of Woes, during which time the Greenskin race migrated from the Eastern Hemisphere of the Warhammer World and into the heartlands of the Old World.

Night GoblinsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:Night Goblins are a distinct sub-species of subterranean Goblins whom are known famously for dwelling within the dark tunnel networks of the World’s Edge Mountains. The Night Goblins are truly a creature of the darkness, for they mortally hate the light of any source, preferring instead to live in near total darkness. A subterranean species, these Night Goblins are only known to ever leave their caves and hideout only in the most darkest of nights, where even the moonlight can have the potential to hurt their light-sensitive skin. On the most rarest occasions when they do come out during the day-time, they always wear extremely dark or black coloured robes that helps to hide their skin from the searing sun. This inability to endure the suns ray all came about when tribes of Goblins began to move eastwards during the Greenskin migration in -1449 IC.

Colossal Squig = Colossal Squigs are enormous, improbable and quite insane. These fungoid beasts possess insatiable appetites and boundless energy which, coupled with their mountainous size, means they can unleash untold havoc in battle! Their impossibly large, fleshy mouths can messily devour swathes of foes in an instant, while their rush to eat usually means anything that escapes their grisly jaws is squashed flat by the beast as it careens headlong towards its next meal.

Squig Hunters = "Some individuals become quite well known and gain a formidable reputation as Squig Hunters. Famous squig hunters become quite nonchalant about the creatures they capture, and are happy to exhibit their skills with spectacles such as Squig Wrestling, Tunnel Racing, Squig Pit Leaping, and bare-back Squig Riding."
https://i.imgur.com/fDmTvRZ.png White Dwarf 155
Squig Gobba = Dragged and prodded onto the battlefield by its malevolent Goblin tenders, it is a huge beast with an oversized gaping maw, a set of extremely powerful lungs and an appetite to rival even that of a Troll! With the Squig heavily chained into position to prevent it bounding off after the first tasty morsel it spies, its tenders start dragging lesser squigs as battle is joined, slicking these beasts with noxious liquids. This renders the creatures senseless, but also prevents the Squig Gobba from immediately swallowing them as the stunned squigs are unceremoniously stuffed into its jaws! Soon its mouth will be full to bursting point, with thick globs of frothing acidic saliva dribbling constantly forth. Then it is only a matter of time before one of two things happen: either the Squig Gobba will vomit forth its mouthful of now monumentally furious lesser kin, causing chaos and panic on a grand scale amongst the enemy army’s ranks; or the great beast itself will explode in a blazing fireball, as the Goblin ‘concoctions’ that the squigs were coated in react spectacularly with the Squig Gobba’s stomach juices.

Black Gobbo’s Speshul Destroya = At first glance, it seems impossible that the ramshackle Black Gobbo's Speshul Destroya can even function. Two crazed Night Goblins feverishly work towering cranes that swing wrecking balls made of fused cannons and scrap in twin deadly arcs. Tomb Squigs = ”The first sign of a Tomb Squig infestation is usually the white fungus and mushrooms found growing nearby. Tomb Squigs feed upon the remains of the dead, finding bones particularly appetising. Often found in Dwarfen tombs that have been broken open and looted, they are sometimes also found in graveyards, where they burrow through the soft soil, going from corpse to corpse. Slightly smaller than regular Squigs, they are pasty white or pale grey in colour and have small, blood red eyes. They possess amazingly powerful jaws, which they use to break open stone sarcophagi and to bite through the ceremonial armour Dwarfs often bury their dead in. Tomb Squigs can really ruin a tomb robber’s day—not only do they present a threat to life and limb, they can also destroy valuable weapons and armour hidden in the tomb.”

OrcoidsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:The Orcs are perhaps the largest and most warlike of the Greenskin race, whose large size and raw physical strength easily allows them to dominate much of Greenskin society. As a tendency of their race, the Orcs are an extremely violent and brutish species in both mind, body and soul. They are brutes and louts of the first degree, insensitive to pain and higher though and are singularly geared towards constant and ever escalating warfare. In a more practical term, the Orcs simply live to fight.
Orc Skills = https://i.imgur.com/T8BAUAE.png White Dwarf 244
OrcsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:Orcs are know for producing large, brutal armies of difficult-to-kill troops, usually supported by a variety or sub-groupings of other Greenskins. Such is their skills on the battlefield that the majority of the most destructive campaigns ignited by the Greenskins are more often led by an Orcish Warlord of great strength, wit, and brutality. Goblins are the more prolific, but it is the Orcs that do the bulk of the bloody work in most battles. They are an overly pugnacious lot and if the Orcs find themselves without an enemy, they will often pummel each other just to keep their spirits up. Orcs naturally take their robust physique for granted and regard everyone else as weak, puny or squishy.
Arrer Boyz = The Arrer Boyz are orcs who favour the bow, or occasionally the crossbow, so they can slay the enemy from a safe distance. Can also wield; Shields, Light Armour, Crossbows

http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Wyvern
Orc Wyvern Bullyz = Perhaps the only way for an Orc to ride a Wyvern is to steal a Wyverm egg and hand-rear it to maturity. These beast are the most highly prized mounts within a Greenskin army, where only the most powerful Orc Warbosses or Great Shamans have the ability and unnatural bond to bind these cruel beast to his will. These Orcs are those Egg Hunta’s who have successfully hatched a Wyvern egg and are trying to tame the beast, the hatchlings are cruel and spiteful, and it will not be long before they turn on their ‘owners’, still, the Orcs will drive them into battle should the need be there, or just if their beloved ‘pets’ are hungry. A unit of Orcs and their baby wyverns, the Orcs could be turned on at any moment.
http://warhammerfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Wyvern
Savage OrcsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:Savage Orcs are a notorious sub-species of the Greenskin race whom have devolved back into a stone-age society that revolves around the ideals of the "Old Way". These Savage Orcs are the result of an over-exposure to extreme heat, which would gradually damage the already small brain of an Orc until its intellect becomes primitive even by the standards of other Greenskins. As a result, the arid landscapes of the Badlands are infamous for having the largest population of Savage Orcs within the whole World.
Savage Orc Boyz = Primitive orc tribes dwelling in remote forest or mountainous regions are known as savage orcs. They use crude weaponry and wear simple hide clothing, if any at all. Can also wield; Shields, Additional Hand Weapons, Great Weapons

Black OrcsSpoiler Alert, click show to read:Black Orc are amongst the biggest, meanest, strongest, and most brutal of all the Greenskin races. Named after their darker shade of green, their thick black-coloured armour and their horrendously foul odour, the Black Orcs consider themselves the ultimate Greenskin warrior. These beasts are grim and singularly-focused on war, an occupation that they take far more seriously than even others of their own kind. Equipped with some of the best weapons and armour in the tribe, these fierce fighters provide the tribe with a much more reliable source of very heavy infantry.

Siege TrainSpoiler Alert, click show to read:"The only realistic solution to breaking massive fortifications is to employ a formidable siege train which includes siege engines of gigantic proportions capable of smashing down the strongest walls, gates and towers quickly. Lava Trolls = These are mentioned in this wiki page, but also in a list in the one below. The problem is, the second link says that there are rules for these, but I wasn’t able to find it anywhere. If anyone finds them, could they help.

Night Trolls = "These terrifying creatures are similar in appearance to their kin the Stone Trolls but of a much darker complexion. Clad in tattered rags and adorned in the bones of their victims, these trolls seek the flesh of the living on which to feed. They are attributed in myth to utter a deep guttural sound, akin to mocking laughter before they tear their prey to pieces."

Shugon = ”They came up from the darkness of the cavern, wet and pale. First one, then a dozen, then a score. Hulking, corpse-pale bulks, scaled and distended, wide mouths filled with shark teeth yawning like crescent moons, eyes silver-white and blind, long ape-like arms juddering and grasping their way up from the dark. They were a childhood nightmare come to life, a legend long known but never till this day I had seen, the Shugon - the ravers, the Trolls of the sea depths.”

Leafy Squigs = ”I’ve heard tell of green ‘Leafy Squigs’ that roam through the perpetual darkness of the older forests, as well as ‘Spitter Squigs’ who plague the rivers that come down from the mountains. Still, it is the Night Goblin tribes who seem to continually bring forth bizarre new forms of Squig in their raids.”
Old World Bestiary
Monstrous Squigs = ”Monstrous Squigs come in many shapes and sizes, but they are at least three times the size of normal Squigs and often have many more legs to support their weight. Upon hearing the roar of this creature, many an adventurer has cowered in fear. These creatures have a huge maw filled with sharp teeth that they use to swallow their prey whole.”

Sea Squig = Ships made from wood and iron are not the only vessels upon the seas of the Warhammer world. Boats of bone, fur, and scale also ply the oceans, bearing sailors of many races to destinations all across the Old World and beyond. There are whispered rumours that certain Orc tribes have discovered a massive Sea Squig and are using it to raid shipping lanes.

Squiggadon = In White Dwarf 340 there was a Warhammer version of a Squiggoth, however I cannot find this model anywhere, nor any pdf of this issue. It’s driving me nuts! Anyway, look up the Warhammer 40k Squiggoth, then remove all the metal plates and cannons, and replace it with a massive wooden howdah teeming with orcs and goblins and maybe some kind of catapult. Massive squiggly beast with a howdah and overloaded with greenskins.

Orc Rogue Idol of Gork= When greenskin tribes gather for war, foetid effigies depicting the Orc gods Gork and Mork will be constructed. Using rock, dung, old battle trophies and other detritus, these ‘statues’ are intended to bring the favour of Gork to the Orcs and Goblins mustering in their shadow. Some are no more than a heap of stones or no larger than a chapel door, but when a Waaagh! is brewing they can grow to immense proportions, and become so infused with the greenskins’ lust for battle that they are roused into life and will lumber forth to crush and bludgeon the enemy.
