You will need winrar to extract into your medieval2/mods folder

wow no ... what i meant was where im supposed to extract it, tried merging the files, tried to name it different it doesn't launch at all

Just put it in your mods folder from m2tw.

If it doesnt launch you can download the original ancient conquest mod (link in OP) and then put the data folder from my patch into that and let it overwrite, and then try to launch.

uninstalled everything and tried everything again. now the base mod isn't even responding anymore. i think i have to walk out on this hotseat
