Default [3d modelers] REDOWNLOAD THE UU3D EMPIRE:TW (Variant,Rigid) PLUGIN TO WORK WITH WARHAMMER MODELS

After Never82 http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...-With-UU3D-Pro brought it to my attention I tried redownloading the plugin that allowed us to open up Rome2/Attila rigid_models and now UU3D loads them and I can save them properly. I am running a purchased UU3D student edition so it should not require pro edition.

Great news! What I want to know is that is there any way to export models into rigid_models(for TW:W) now? Can the Assembly Kit Beta export models?

The Pike & Musket mod is active again in 2016, check the PMTW Sub Forum now!

I don't know if it would work, but you could try using BoB to export .cs2 files same way you put files into Attila/R2,

I've tried to just throw an Attila model (both one from the game and one I put in the game via the old method) and it would show up as invisible in Warhammer. So we may have to wait still for CA to update the toolkit with the relevant stuff.

Ironically enough I just did the reverse, chucking some warhammer rigid models into the Attila assembly kit, no success either, just crashing. My guess is since there are so many different bodies in warhammer it is no longer as simple as just having a skin with pieces of equipment slapped on top.

Quick question, I was trying UUD3 demo SE and could load up the rigid models v2, if I were to save them after editing, for example I took chs_archaon_head_01 and deleted half his horn so it looks damaged, and then exported the model back into PFM and saved the .pack file, would archaon show up with his helm half damaged or would my game just crash?

So I just wanted to mention how nice the developer of UU3D was and how quickly he responded and updated the plugin after I contacted him! http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...wrap3D-Support
I thanked him on behalf of all of us.
