Warhammer and FRAPS

Hello everyone, I cannot use FRAPS with Warhammer to make screenshots, anyone else has expierenced this? Any solutions?

people still using fraps? thats a resource hog =/ you can always use steam own screenshots (w/ saving uncompressed screenshots to selected folder for max quallity)

Steam is an alternative, to be true, but I have reasons for fraps

I like fraps as i play in 4K and steam over lay is really small..

also steam overlay dose not work

Good thing to know is that if you have an Nvidia GeForce card you can record the game with Shadowplay which is supported by Nvidia's hardware and causes no FPS drops, unlike Fraps.

Fraps causing FPS drops really come on what card you playing on one from 1990

true you get more impact recording with fraps compared to hardware accelerated Shadow Play, regardless your hardware @romanlegion. For video recording Fraps is pretty much inefficient also the fraps format that needs to be reencoded to meet current needs. But I use fraps just for screenshots only and so far I cannot make screenshots with Shadow Play even though you find a tutorial how to make it, it seems I am missing the feature.

Yeah i thought he was talking the counter in he top corner was lagging his game..
i just use for the counter and screen shots.. use print screen and windows button

Yeah, does not work--- neither does Dxtory. I had to go through like 5 recording programs for my Let's play before I found one that worked, and it was a pain. I finally landed on X-split....good software.

I am now using MSI Afterburner, for screenshots, it is as simple and fast as Fraps which I have uninstalled now. The Fraps project seem to be dead anyway was ages since they updated it.

Yep, I used it as a backup....but now it's just a waste of space. To bad they had a hold on the market and got lazy.

I can't make screens with Fraps or with Steam F12, so, what's wrong?

Fraps does not work anymore in Warhammer for some reason (btw. the same issue with Xbox / Windows 10 games like Tomb Raider which I have bought via Windows 10 store, quite unluckily). Steam's F12 should work at least.
