    Default Double (x2) Build and Research Times



    These mods provide options for players who want longer build and technology times.

    Downloads

    Double Build and Tech Times - Standalone - Steam - All building and research time multiplied by 2.

    Double Build Times - Standalone - Steam - All building times multiplied by 2.

    Double Tech Times - Standalone - Steam - All technology research time multiplied by 2.


    Installation
    Standalone version - download the pack and place it in your Warhammer data folder. Run the game, click Mod Manager. Check "enable out of date mods." Make sure the mod is checked green, hit Play.
    Steam version - subscribe to the mod and make sure it is activated in Mod Manager in the Launcher.

    Compatibility
    - This mod should be compatible with most other mods and also with save games.

    Sweet Dresden thank you! Also is there any possibltiy of making a mod that slows down battle speed by a bit?

    Yes, in theory that is possible using the kv_rules and the damage tables.

    I think they are packed, aren't they. Is there a tool available already to open the packs like PFM for earlier TW games?

    I imagine the latest versions of PFM and ESF would work with Warhammer?

    I hope so in order to increase the unit size day one

    If only PFM would work that would be great. I'm usually to dumb to change startpos anyway.

    Hey Dresden, cheers for this. Is there any way you would consider making a slower campaign movement speed mod as well? Assuming it's possible with the current tools.

    Yes, I can look into some other mods once I get these I have been working on fully stable, etc. Let me know any others you guys may want.

    Thanks Dresden for this mod! I'm really hoping for more hardcore game mode mods in the future!

    I'll agree with Mr Bacon, I'm also hoping for longer battles. Seems silly to have a 60 minute timer only to see battles being over in 10 minutes. Increased HP per unit, increased average morale(takes longer to route), increased ability to rally.

    Stupid question, but will this work for Rome II? Because I believe this is what you were referring to when you said this in Steam

    "No its not compatible, but you can download a version from the TWC forums that has just hte building and tech changes only, not the TPY"
