    this gonna be an early era mod around 500 b.c. -100 b.c. two turns per year, so about 800 hundred turns

    playable factions:
    the Romanii
    the Etruscans
    the Mesapii
    the Umbrians
    the ligurians
    the Venicii
    Carthage
    the greek colonies
    the berbers


    non-playable factions:
    the Gauls
    Italian rebels
    meditteranean pirates
    Agean pirates
    the huns
    the slavs


    the units will be simple:

    town militia
    spear militia
    Italian archers (peasant archers)
    heavy Iatlian infantry (dismounted feudal knights)
    light equites ( mounted sergeants)
    heavy equites (mailed knights)

    oh & no castles either just settlements

    I`,ve done alot already! like almost all ui, music,, factions, mapping etc. I will upload a preview video soon & some screenshots

    Great mod idea, for one of my favourite periods of history. Have you taken a look at the mod 'Peninsula Italica?' for Kingdoms, as this covers Italy from 338-260 BC, and might save you some work re mapping etc, if you can use some of it's content. Keep up the good work, I'm really excited and eagerly waiting for the preview of this. Can't wait to play it!

    If the Roman roster is before the Camillan reforms and still using the hoplites, that would be very special.
