Rhodes surrender to the Macedonian Empire is accept. The polis must surrender directly to Hagen as regent of the Empire and swear to serve him loyally before their shared gods and the people of Hellenes. They are expected to provide troops when needed.

I put this in the wrong spot by accident.

I the Satrap Herakles of Phrygia declares that he has convinced the Rhodians to yield peacefully. It was a daunting task to be sure, but with superior logic and argumentation and a slight demonstration of power the Rhodians have realized that they would be better off joining our Empire. I have instructed them to send their envoy to Pella so that the regent may name their representative as the satrap for the newly established satrapy of Rhodes.

I suggest that their terms be accepted as there is very little which we may tax from them and would set a precedent and good faith with the other Greeks who will no doubt see this as an expression of Hagen's benevolence so that they might then yield peacefully and support our endeavors as well.
The alternative would be to burn more wealth and waste more time, though I am a mere humble servant of the Empire I do think the choice is obvious.

I thank you gentlemen for taking part in the campaign to punish the rebel Ariarathes.
I have replenished your soldiers in Gordium. (ooc: I still have to deduct the amount from my income)

Satrap Herakles also awards the following amount to these kind satraps:
Pergamon 300 drachmae (3 points) as Pergamon may require further assistance to deal with Bythinia
    Ionia 200 drachma (2 points)
    Caria 200 drachmae (2 points)
    Lydia 200 drachmae (2 points)
    Cilicia 200 drachmae (2 points)

I ask that you consider joining the campaign against Bythinia as well. I have dispatched 15,000 troops to Cyzicus to protect Pergamon in case Bythinia attacks them. I have reason to believe that Bythinia plans to invade us, and is perhaps plotting with Pontus as well. (ooc: my spies in Bythinia were killed and Pontus has raised 10,000 troops and more are sure to follow)
I ask that Hagen sanction a campaign to punish the Bythinian aggressors as Zipoetes has seized Cius, Nicomedia and Heraclea which is Hellenic soil, that is to say our soil.

Satrap Herakles declares that he has paid Rhodes to help evacuate and house refugees from Athens, mostly women and children it seems. All those who have turned their backs on the rebellion will be taken to Rhodes and Anatolia. They will be returned to Athens when the war ends, as it surely will, and allowed to return to an Imperial Athens as soon as Hagen takes the city. Let this be a demonstration of the Empire's generosity and of our mercy. Hagen said he would allow you to jump the boat, in this case it appears to be literal.

A letter is sent all across the empire, to various Satraps from Europe to the far reaches of Asia.

"I Hagen, Regent of Alexander's great Empire, have cast the Greeks asunder. Their once proud cities now rush to swear fealty to me, as I march to put an end to Athen's existence, for all time. Sparing them once was Alexander's greatest failure, and only failure, something that will be rectified. In the dark of the night, while I was attempting to to save the heart of the empire from rebellion an assassin came to murder our great King, Philip. These conspirators are Macedonians that seek to place the bastard Hercules on the throne of Alexander's empire, my good brother was approached by the Ringleader Antiochus, offering him all of Anatolia if he would only betray Alexander's legacy. As such I hereby condemn Antiochus of Babylon and Iolaus of Judea as traitors to Alexander's empire and rebels that must be crushed as befitting of any rebel. I suspect others may be in league with them so I urge caution to the loyal members of the empire. As such I empower any and all satraps to do battle with them and seize their lands for their own domain, for the stability of the realm.

Signed with the signet ring of Alexander himself, with the name of Hagen attached to it."

A letter is sent across all the Macedonian lands.

Lies, lies and lies. The so called regent has decided to abandon me inventing filthy lies. I have never tried to assassinate the king ever and neither did i want to proclaim Alexander's bastard, Heracles, king. No proof has been given for this and no proof will be ever found for these absurd claims. This so called regent is nothing more than a vile tyrant, he is keeping Cleopatra, Alexander's sister jailed, how does he dare to treat a family member of the Argead line like this? She wanted to marry my son, how can someone deny the sister of Alexander this? this man thinks he can command the argead dynasty members as he wants. How can such a man call me ''rebel'' when i have served even Alexander's father Philip II faithfully from day one?, even when he wasn't even born yet, and now this young tyrant has the gall to call me a ''rebel''?

Such a man must be stopped unfortunately, he must be stopped from his tyrannical reign, if he doesn't stop his insinuations and insults i will have to take steps and i will strip of his title of ''regent'' that he is unworthy. I call upon all to not longer call him ''Regent'' as long as he continues like this. I call upon on him to disobey such a tyrant aslong as he doesn't come to sense. I call upon all to join me to stop this tyrant, by either negotiations or other means. I call upon my friends to join me, this is not what philip II wanted it to ever be and i call upon you friends to not let this tyrant desecrate Philip's II legend and era.

    Signed, Antiochus, Satrap of Babylon.

A letter is sent to Hagan and to the other Satraps:

    Satrap of Judea:

Me a traitor?! What proof is there that I would conspire against the Emplre? If anything

I am supporting the current regime by sending money to the Satrap of Egypt, Calas. Who

has been supporting the regent Hagan in Greece and is now fighting to protect his allies in

the south. Perhaps the regent forgets that it could have been the Greeks that sent the assassin

before the final battle to try and cause this chaos. Judea is small and has nothing to gain

by rebelling against the empire like this. For we have the Syrians to the north and the

Egyptians led by the mighty and noble Calas. Please I beg of you to see reason and that

i would never to something stupid as this.

Another attempt on the Regent's life!

An assassin attempted to strike down Hagen, the Regent of Macedon, as his forces began their siege of Athens. While the Regent was surveying the Long Walls from a hill near the Macedonian encampment with several of his officers and guards, this man emerges from the bush he was hiding within for the past two hours, drew a dagger and rushed at the Regent. However, his rather noisy exit from the bush had alerted the guards of Hagen and one of them bashes the man with his aspis shield, knocking him down and causing him to roll down the rock hill to his death, similar to the first assassin who attempted to take the Regent's life. Two guards would inspect the corpse and find nothing to identify who sent this man.

    Assassination roll against Hagen: Failure

    The death of Lysandros Keraunos

The Satrap of Syria was found seriously injured in his chambers by three guards after hearing his wife's screams, with bite marks from a echis present on his body. It would appear an assassin had managed to sneak into the Satrap's chambers during the night with a snake and unleashed it upon the man. The snake was easily dispatched by the guards, and while a doctor was called, the Satrap would unfortunately expire before sunrise despite his best efforts to keep the man alive. A thorough search of the satrap's palace and city of Damascus would turn up no evidence to identify the culprit.

Bah tis obvious that Calas the brute was behind the assassination of Lysandros. His eyes look to Syria like a hungry jackal, he circles the Aegean like a marauding vulture. Do you see who rules Syria now? Should you cross the boundary which the desert peoples have marked between Syria and the great Nafud, I swear to you this offense shall not go unpunished. Though I see that Calas prefers a stab in the back to a straight fight.
Be wary Hagen for he eyes your regent's chair! He is obviously in league with the renegades in Babylon and Judea, a blind beggar in Damaskos can see this but only for the stench that swells up from Egypt, which Notos carries to the north.

This man makes alliances with desert raiders and ignores his duty to support the regent and quell the Greeks first and foremost. He marries off his squeamish son to desert beasts and makes loud noises which crackle like a small thunder which truly only he can hear. He has no way with words and his tongue is as witty as a common ape. His military ability is summarized by a single word "advance", his shields glitter with such a radiant silver that it blinds him to the enemy before him, his thievery is like that of the northern tribes, though he is called Hellene he resembles a brutish centaur. His boastfulness knows no bounds and when he finds himself in Tartaros he must boast that his head was removed by Herakles. In letting loose one arrow he allows a thousand arrows to fly towards him. Such fools do not live long.

Syria is now under the protection of Herakles. Revolts shall be punished with severity, treason shall be punished with death and invasion shall be responded to in kind.
This aggression by Egypt shall not be tolerated by me or any other satrap.

An attempt on the satrap of Egypt's life

While Calas' allied army of Macedonian and Arab forces march towards the lands of the Qedarite Arabs to end the threat to his Nabatean allies, a caravan of merchants approaches his forces, attempting to hark their wares, claiming to have items found across the Agread Empire, such as silk from India, pottery from Greece, silphium from Cyrene, and more. Calas and Harithath approach the caravan with a escort of Nabatean and Macedonian horsemen after hearing of the caravan from a messenger. At Calas' approach, one of the members of the caravan picks up a bow and takes aim at the Satrap of Egypt, and misses him. The Macedonian and Nabatean horsemen then attack the caravan, slaying the merchants and assassin. Some of the Nabateans begin to help themselves to the wares of the caravan, only for two men to die and the rest fall ill from a poison placed on some of the items. The Macedonian horsemen are unable to find anything to identify who ordered the attempt on Calas' life.
