Ohhh... that is music to my ears! As soon as I have some spare time I will download it!!!

Thank you so much for your hard work!

Btw, is there any faction(s) that you need in particular to be tested? I usually play 1-turn campaign, though wouldn't mind taking on 0-turn, if necessary?

Nope. Any faction you wish to play is fine. However, the Athens faction is new, so you could try that.

Only played one battle and I was like... Wow, that's pretty (zooming, zooming...) OH MY GOD !! That is GORGEOUS !!

And where it's ridiculous is that I'm running with the same video parameters than I did on 2.6, meaning LOW almost everywhere ! (I have a mac and a poor graphic chipset so...) I can't even imagine on ULTRA HIGH but to me, this is a revolution !!

Just amazing work gentlemen, thank you so much for this !
(I'm playing with Sparte One-Turn and going to enjoy the tour of the city tonight )

Like someone Seleukos said, this is music to my ears! Will start downloading tonight. I can't wait to test the game with the smaller textures, bet it'll run better

I have to say, the performance increase is beautiful. RSIII runs at high frames, even on high settings. Something that wasn't like that before. And the world map... Gorgeous!

Installation and upgrade process is very easy and smooth. Big thumbs up for that.

Campaign map looks really nice, and you can see those special cities have unique configurations even on the campaign map.

Have not yet had time to get into the depths of campaigning, but I'm sure there are more goodies to see.

    Much Kudos

    dvk,

Congratulations for the release and thanks for all the efforts you and your team put into this mod!!

I am in the middle of my Roman RS II campaign, so now I have to decide what to do... to continue or to try RS III... Arrgh, the pain of choice...

Athenian campaign is indeed among the hardest. Right now I am decisively fighting Macedonians and winning battle after battle, however their stacks have no end, I am limited at funds and things are starting to look ugly. They declared war on me as soon as I was able to get rid of "common" Greeks. I had no time to restore my economy, I was using all my money to retrain my troops in order to defend homeland. The worst part of the war happened when Macedonian assassin butchered my family tree. He was able to kill 9 generals before he was caught. Right now I am going to attack with my half beaten but experienced as hell stack Pella and try to win against troops which greatly outnumber me. It I win this battle I will win the war, if not well... I hope survival script will save me from complete annihilation.
