    This is true. But the Greeks are known as one of the most rebellious elements in the Empire. Alexander had to pacify them twice before leaving for Asia, Antipater had to crush the Spartans by himself at Megalopolis because they decided to lead a revolt again. Phillip had problems with them as well. It's honestly a fair assumption that with news of Alexander's death they would revolt. So, while we shouldn't meta game knowing everything about the Greek revolt, common sense would have us suspecting it will happen.

    Hey man, I really dislike the idea of meta-gaming or not, rather use the full extent of your abilities to win and if the other guy does the same you have nothing to worry about.

    Soooooo Barry, can I post a separate RP thread of perhaps a congress of greek states or something

    I'd say it's safe to be worried about a Greek revolt in character (they revolted when they thought Alexander died in the Balkan campaign), but we shouldn't meta game knowing for sure they have revolted. I think that's a fairly accurate way to go about it.

    Since there seems to be confusion on what is owned by the Macedonian Empire and what is not I'll list a few.

    Bythinia-Ruled by Zipeotes I since 326 BC. Is currently embroiled in a war with the Greek city state of Chalcedon which he is besieging. Apparently,the Diadochi were never able to annex Bythinia which means there military must have been fairly decent.

    Cappadocia- Founded as a kingdom by Ariarathes after the Persians lost control of the region in 332 BC. Has continued to be indepdent until current day.

    Pontus- Not a unified kingdom currently. Since the Persians lost power alot of local rulers have set themselves up as independent rulers.

    These are the major ones, but there are a few more.

    The Bythinians were a thorn in the side of the Anatolian Hellenistic forces, as if IIRC they basically allied with the Galatians when the latter first raided into Anatolia. They were considered barbarians on the level that Thracians were, I think.

    Also I've added three sisters to Mithradates' biography sign-up.

    You hit the nail on the head there BF. They outlived many of the Diadochi's dynasties as well which is quite a feat.

    I know your pain, they're very hard to deal with, and I think that mission to get rid of the Bythinians that the Seleucids give you at the start has a timelimit too. It's a steep climb to say the least.

    Wow, we actually managed to come to an agreement and conclude the partition in a timely manner. I almost can't believe it. Good work everyone.

    Can wives and daughters have traits as well?

    I have a growing suspicion that Abdulmecid simply hasn't posted because he hasn't seen the Partition of Babylon thread hidden in the roleplaying forum.

    EDIT: Nevermind, it's been less than 24 hours; he just hasn't been around for most of the Partition.

    @Oda,
    I assumed they could because they're technically characters, but I only applied ones I thought even remotely reasonable.
    If we are not supposed to have traits for female characters, then I'll remove those.

    Literally the only issue left is where Antiochus will take his satrapy and if Hagen will possibly let him have Macedonia. That's literally all that is left.

    I don't think the Lamian War started at the exact same time as the Partition, considering that Alexander's been dead for like two or three days at most and the ancient Hellenes don't have Skype or phones with which to spread news of his death that quickly. It will however trigger pretty much as soon as the Partition is concluded as news of Alex buying the farm spreads beyond Mesopotamia.

    @Oda & BF I didn't think about that, but I suppose if we're going to have powerful female figures like Roxana & Olympias as ancillaries women too should be able to have traits. So yeah, they can have the non-combat traits.

    Kid rolls:

    Deucalion (Ace): 2 sons & 2 daughters, ages 28-24-23-20
    Lysandros (FuManchu): 1 son, age 8

    Also if anyone with married adult children wants rolls for them, I can do that for y'all now.

    Cool, I have two sons, I think I will make the older one a commander and the younger one a merchant.

    And question, as in this time Greek women in their 20s were married, so can I have my daughters be married and have my sons in law as characters or use that as links to other greek Polises?

    @Barry,

    What about "Wall Defender" for a female character?
    Was going to try and raise Artastuna to be a bit like a certain Artemisia
