Europa Barbarorum II - Diadochi Campaign 303 B.C.

I liked so much the suggestion of CanOmer that i decided to start a new thread to gather advice and suggestions how a hypothetical campaign of Diadochi would like. That thread does not mean this campaign would ever developed by EB 2 team or me. I just want to share some of my thoughts.

First of all there are some factions that exist: Makedonia as Kassandros, Ptolemaioi as Ptolemaios, Seleukids as Seleukos. There are also some factions that do not: State of Lysimakhos and state of Antigonos. Also some factions that do not appear like Pontos, Parthia, Baktria and Pergamon and some factions that need to be convert like gandhara to maurya. Also i would like to see Koinon as pure Sparta faction.

Hi, if anyone decides to make 303BCE campaign I can provide some important informations. Because I was making a 303BCE mod for Eu4 which I began in autumn of 2014. I made big progress but it is now paused since February 2016 (not dead, a break). Here are some of the maps I made:

Very interesting indeed, as this is one of the most interesting points in antique history. And as a Ptolemy and Seleukid fan myself i would surley try and kick the Coalition ass in the Fourth War of the Diadochi
I would start re​ading a little on this old Rome Total War mod, Diadochi Total War. Surely some of the team members could help you out with certain things as they made a WHOLE mode covering the wars.

Personally i am bit of a history nerd, swalloing everything, especially war history. So if their is some help you need im more than willing to help out. Modding is out of my league though :/ As much as i want to learn it...

I would like to see thracians and galatians you can't have the Spartans as the sole faction in Greece do you not.know about the lamian war also an epirote faction would b great as they joined forces with olympi and jnvaded macedonand like I said the barbarian like celts thracians bithynia acythians.made great use of this turmoil. So can we have a campaign with different starting times so you can Greek factions starting out in the lamian war time period and who ever wins like your faction carries on etc. With pahplogonia the celts settling in Galatia. Different time periods for factions would be greats so you can have Sparta if you wanted because historically Athens emergedcixtor of lamian war I think. Really the submod I would like is the beginning of iron age so the Scythians use of cavalry starts Hittites disappear after sea peoples invasion Phoenicians setting up colonies. Greece Dorian's Mycenae etc
But for diadochi you either include the secondary or just stick to the primary factions like the 3 or 4 big ones but there are so many intricacies to this war .

These maps are very impressive.

You did not name the mod you are working on though, what is it?

I would like to see what you have done so far as I myself also have certain ideas and your work could be very helpful to me.
