Confused. Just need most recent KGCM; M2TW Kingdoms Steam

Have Steam version.

I just need to download and install latest version, but all this 3.0, 4.2, 4.3 stuff is confusing and I appear to be quite braindead today. Thank you.

KGCM has notoriously annoying to install. You need to install 3.0, then 4.2 over it, then 4.3. Then there's a couple of small fixes in the release thread. And IIRC 3.0 installer has two parts. And the installers aren't consistent in required install path (some will require you to point them to M2TW main folder, some to mods folder and some to the KGCM folder).

The best advice I can think of is to install whole KGC into dummy folder (say, C:\mess\mods) and check if it looks okay-like, export_descr_unit.txt is in mods\kgcm\data folder and not outside, there isn't any scond data folder outside its proper location...and if it looks okay, just drag it over to proper location and adjust the desktop shortcut. You'll have to point it to medieval.ext instead of kingdoms.exe anyway, since it's steam version.
