Sorry for the delays, I've been running into problems with my computer saying that it's using 100% of the disk while it is only using 0.1Mb/sec, which led to really slow startup times and causing medieval 2 to freeze very often. I tried a few fixes and now it seems alright, I'll cross my fingers and hope it works.

Dwarven ballista defeated by cavalry units twice and retreated to the castle. Can post pictures, if needed. I lost 3 men in total, I think.

Lost Internet when my stupid computer updated to Windows 10 by itself. Ethernet drivers weren't compatible. Huge mess. Ended up going back to Windows 7 and having to restore my computer. Doing now!

Save is done but I am hoping an admin can re-spawn a ballistae unit. I was in a big rush last turn and redid my turn at the last minute causing me to forget to move my ballistae to a safe position. I knew Rhun was going to siege so its quite obvious I was going to move it out.

Sorry man, but that's just a mistake on your part. Why should you get a ballista back for screwing up?

Edit: I took a look at my turns and you did in fact move that ballista. My cav was just in range. So there is no problem, you can post your turn.

I don't know how Chieftain feels, but even if Gimli has forgotten to move his ballista, IMO the admins should not be stepping in to correct a player's mistakes. I've turned people down each time such a request has been made.

As unfortunate as it may be, admins will never compensate losses which have nothing to do with a rule violation. I've forgotten things as well in the past, but it is never a reason to ask for compensation. It is a reason to slap myself on the head and make sure I'm more focussed next time

That is so dumb. You can bypass the settlements zone of control. I thought it acted as a choke point so believed my ballistae to be safe.

You will need to find a new dwarf player. I have really mucked up my computer. I accidentally turned on essential services only to try and speed up my computer and so my computer is now a 16 bit mess. I am sending it in ASAP to a computer technican and will likely take a week to fix.
