Loke Khan decided in these last few months to pull the majority of his forces in, in the attempt to claim a mighty fortress of old - Dol Guldur. His scouts did inform him that the Orcs of the Misty Mountains took the abandoned fortress before him, and that there was a big force in the area, but that did not disuade him. His eyes were on the price and nothing and no one would stop him. When the army finally arrived after a long journey from their home; first capturing the north from the Dwarves and then marching through the vastness of Wilderland, they found the fortress abandoned by the Orcs! Just a small garrison was left to defend, which the great Loke Khan accepted with delight. Dol Guldur has been taken for the glory of Rhun!

My both goals have been accomplished: 1) hold 16 regions and 2) capture Dol Guldur. I took a risk these last turns, since I decided to go all in and try to intimidate the Orcs, making them leave the fortress. It actually worked! If that army stayed there, I probably wouldn't have been able to capture the fortress. In the meantime, I would most likely suffer major damage in the north from the Orcs, as he had armies moving on Erebor, etc. Thanks guys for the game!

I am satisfied with the way this HS went. Sadly the Dwarves got destroyed early on, which made it much easier for Rhun to win, but we also avoided a 'long stalemate' HS at least
