    You mean fake?

    I doubt it. I do not believe a fake modder would even make a fake modding problem, and ask other modders how to solve the fake problem.

    See this, this is a real modding problem where someone putting a ship variant that doesn't match with the models_naval:

    So NO. Artstudio is not faking it. He's really working on this REAL mod, just going in a hiatus. Or maybe the project's dead at the moment because he have something else to do.

    I can confirm that Artstudio was not no faking anything. I don't know what the status is here, but what he showed was real and I know this for certain. And our mod AE is personally grateful as he got us to do some new things. It was a lot of work for one person to do on their own, though.

    What you did was absolutely fantastic and you must have dedicated many hours of hard work to this project. I hope that at some point you can return and finish what was begun. I must add though, that modding isn't about altruism, its about creativity and the pleasure of sharing with others. If the motivation is only for the prospect of financial gain and the process is only seen in terms of an effort for others benefit, then its probably not the thing to be spending your time on.

    One of the positive things Total War and other computer games has brought, is for many people around the World to work together and create fantastic mods for others to share, in the absence of commercialisation. That is a very good thing in my eyes, long may it continue.

    Unfortunately because it isn’t seen as a commercial aspect, companies like CA may not make modding easy, which can cause problems which take time to try and overcome, and which often cannot be balanced with real life issues.

    All people of this Forum and all entire players of this game want that you work with the Ancient Empires Team. Work with Doomon, Petellius and others for create the great cities of the Ancient World. And make together the most awesome mod of all time!
