FOTS Ships won't reload faster despite changes
So I was modding FOTS and I was trying to decrease the reload time for a ship. My changes work fine in first person when I fire myself but when I leave the ship to fire on its own, it fires at a much slower rate.
Is it due to the speed of the animation?
-If this is the case, is there an easy way to speed up an animation?
-If not could someone list me all the PFM files and fields I need to edit for faster reload speed to make sure I haven't missed something.

Well, reload time for ships is determined by unit_stats_naval AND unit_stats_naval_crew. If just want a fast firing cannon, increase the reload skill on both tables to something like 100, but this will only do so much as the animation will take no less than 4 or 5 seconds regardless. If you want to make a machine-gun cannon, change the engine_type column in gun_type tables for the naval cannon to Boshin_Gatling_Gun, and then witness the carnage.
