I like the idea and i love the time period, i think i'm in![]()
You already made Armenians, Slavs and other factions that require minimum changes to fit in our era. Also you can see TGC previews to coppy skins and unit rosters for many main factions.
I hope that you could find a settlement creator to re-design settlements ussing R2 and Attila buildings, walls and textures plus settlements designs.
Example: Thessalonike (see attachments).
As for armor designs i could sent realy soon TGC's ones.

I wish you would only try to give yourself an idea of how this is received on my part.
TGC has been in development for how long now?
And still no release.
That mod of yours has retained some very special modelling work.
You know the models I am talking about.
For how much longer will you deprive the M2TW fan base the pleasure of that work?
If you can't release TGC, then release the models at least.
Then you can focus on any mod you like.
In fact TGC is very close to release. Closer than ever. GA in Attila will be faster because textures, models that are needed are already in game.
Only settlements need to be done from srcatch but also 90% of the models required are also in R2 and Attila game.
Only few original textures and shield paterns will be required. Avetis already made a HUGE work for Attila that could also be used in GA.

Basic Rules that must be followed IF this mod will be released by the modders they will participate.
1: No fictional units , so no pikemen in the west!
2: Ellite Units and peseant ones available from the start but will diferent recruitment times and from diferent buildings. The "King's Men " feature MUST continue to exist.
3: Accurate settlement models.
4: Maximum historical accuracy on events and units apearence.
5: Maximum respect in all cultures/civilisations that will be part of the mod.

NOTTICE:
I am in the unpleasant situation to inform the following:
GOLDEN AGES mod MUST use only material that CA/SEGA has already made and material modders -OTHER THAN TGC ONES- will contribute to the project.
The Great Conflicts 872-1071 UNIQUE material IS OFF LIMITS because:
1) The material belongs to the original creators that created it and to NO other.
2) CA/SEGA IS NOT ALLOWED to use TGC consepts and material because :
a) CA/SEGA has proven that is waiting modders to offer material in order to GAIN MORE MONEY from work that is free of use WITHOUT ANY BENNEFIT to original creators.
b) TGC uses info and references (designs and other material) that were kindly offered to TGC mod ONLY FOR TGC mod and for educational reasons and for FREE USE. SO I NO CASE CA/SEGA can use them without writen permision of the Historians, artists etc that contributed to TGC mod.
CA/SEGA thinks that modders are fool enough to make them rich with out personal work of theirs.
CONCLUSION:
ANYONE that will contribute to that mod must USE only CA/SEGA material and material that will personaly created by the contributers.
I will suport the project with the main idea and the unit roster consepts and that's all!
Unless CA/SEGA changes attidute forward to modders and the games that it sells us this is my finall desision.
