HELP !! with getting this mod to work

i have spent 2 hours getting this mod to work i have followed everything what is on the forum installed all the new patches and as soon as i go to play the game it loads for 1 sec then ctd. please help

the disk wont even load now it keeps ctd

Otherwise, is your BI disk running correctly with vanilla or other mods?

If this is ok, this is the how to add new the command lines. Make a shortcut to your RTW-BI.exe corresponding to the ATW installation. Then on your desktop, right click the shortcut and click properties.

You will see the target, for me its (it depends on the directory where ATW is installed):

"D:\Jeux\Activision\Arthurian - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe"

Add -nm -show_err at the end of the target. With this, mine is:

"D:\Jeux\Activision\Arthurian - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -show_err -nm

Then click apply and Ok. Try launching ATW.

You may get an error message "please select an item from the list". If this happens, its because you forgot to patch your BI version to 1.6, so you will need a proper reinstall.

The -nm command disables loading movies and background movies. It's needed for people having issues with our background menu, traditionnaly getting 'protection errors'.

it says rometw-bi.exe has not been detected i have it in my cd drive lol

And is the CD autorun (with the language menu etc...) loading properly? If yes, you will probably need to do a proper reinstall of RTW-BI and patch it to 1.6. If not, it may comes from the CD itself.

As someone with a v1.4 version of BI am I right in thinking the process for installing Arthurian TW is...

Install Rome TW
Install BI TW
Install patch for v1.6
Install Arthurian TW

Are there any further patches which I require or should things be done in a different order?
