Gunpowder on Turn 1?
In my descr_events, I have the event:
event historic gunpowder_discovered
date 1
movie event/gunpowder_invented.bik
In order to enable gunpowder on turn 1. However, when I load M2:TW and start up a new Grand Campaign, I get no movie or information regarding the discovery of gunpowder. I have played through ten turns or so with no message. I have also used the console commands to mod up some of my settlements to maximum technology level in order to see if I could access the gunpowder units: no luck.
Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
EDIT: I have my timescale set to 0.5. Could that be it?

Try turn 2, turn 1 might be bugged because its the first turn in the campaign. and it has the scripts running.

It was the timescale. I just modified my descr_strat to 2 turns, and played to turn 5. At the beggining of turn 5 I got the gunpowder movie.
