Fantastic, plus rep. Brilliant as always. The units names are kind of wired, even though I am Armenian. Also imho Armenia lacks some non-AOR higher tier units esp in melee inf. and cav. I hope you will continue working on this and you will undoubtedly get the modder of the year award! I know u since Rome 2, this job is fantastic, as always, units faces and dresses are finally suitable for Armenians. At last I can feel that I am playing for Armenia. My friend. Thank you again.

Fantastic, Great job Avetis! Your mod is definitely the best faction mod for TW Attila. You almost made four other factions playable along side with Armenia, just great.

Only suggestion is to put English words for the units instead of Armenian as many people can not understand Armenian language and it is very difficult for them to pronounce them, at least to do another English language version, if that is possible. The great work anyway.

    Great mod!

I have to say that Armenia has a really tough starting position as a Sassanid vassal. I tried a campaign on legendary and declared independence when the Sassanids declared war against the Romans. The trouble is that those treacherous Arran backstabbers decided to piss on their non-aggression pact with me, plus Pontus and Oriens on the western borders decided to declare war against me too! So at this point the situation looks to be so deep in poo that it's probably irrecoverable, given how there's enemies on all sides. In hindsight the smart thing would have been to remain a Sassanid vassal through the ERE-Sassanid war and get a stronger position by conquering the Eastern Romans, before turning against the Sassanids.

But when using this and your Sassanid reskin at least I can enjoy the beautiful models while watching my sorry levies get massacred!

Yep, I also played it, and in addition various tribes like sabris and alans invade caucasus and me also, so this is too hard to play

    Key quote here.

FWIW, I'd say that you should focus on building armies before going independent. The ERE isn't going to be of much help in the early game, as they'll already be fighting on two or three fronts. If the Sassanids declare war on them, you might as well stay a vassal unless you've got at least one decent army per city plus an offensive stack or two. Remember, Armenia survived as either an ally or a vassal/client state for several centuries, so you should do the same until you can hold more than one province. Also, if you're going to rebel against the Sassanids, you may want to try and get the Huns on your side, or at the very least in a non-aggression pact. That'll free you to swallow up the Georgian factions, removing the NE as a danger.

Thing is, while you're a vassal you can only get trade agreements (no Non-aggression pacts or anything like that). And of course you can't declare war on your own (except against your overlord). Also, you're paying piles of money to the Sassanids, so income will be low even with built up cities. Honestly my revolt would have been fine if it was just the Sassanids...it was Pontos, Oriens and Arran coming against me that really tilted the scales against me, since there are only so many troops/mercenaries that can be raised in a short time from a couple of provinces.

Also, Armenia has relatively weak garrisons, since CA nerfed the garrisons of the Sassanid vassal states with the "White Hun patch", and that is true for Armenia as well. That didn't help when those backstabbing Arran decided to suddenly attack me...

But yeah, should have stayed vassal and dragged the Sassies into every war with me (inducing some factions to declare war by raiding their lands, since you can't declare war yourself).

    Hello !

Phenomenal job , definitely better than the content of CA. Are you going to improve Sarmatian Factions (Roxolanians , Iazyges)? They absolutely should not have Mongolian units in they roster. Then Attila would have been even better game.

I think first of all it more important to make a Caucasian mod with four other faction playable those are: Kartli, Lazica, Arran and Abasgia. I think someone should undertake this work. I will participate in this work as a historical researcher and really eager to present the information concerning all those faction. Historical accurate names, persons, faces, units in accordance with the social groups, materials for the ammunition, description of units factions, faction leaders etc.
I think if someone will undertake this work of codding and skinning of the units and the separate or will unite it with this mod that would be great.

Later of course with the help of researchers of the Sarmatian factions we can do proper Sarmatian mod as well.

Well I really like the addition of Armenia the problem is whenever I start a campaign (with any faction) with them the game crashes on the loading screen. I am also using the Sassanid units reskin (A.M_sassanid_unit_reskin0.8.7.pack), a Roman Empire reskin mod (@_ave_roma.pack) and the Heavy Armoured Horses reskin mod. I tried even with disableing the other two mods but it doesn't work. Custom Batles do work however with both mods. Any solutions?
