    Default 2.4 Spearmen

    I'm playing a KOJ campaign at the moment and fighting a two front war with Makoria and Rum Sultanate. Both seem to be fielding armies with a large majority of spearmen. Is there some reason they are honing on these generic armies(for the most part)?
    Their stats don't look great either but are giving my fairly strong forces quite a run for their money!

    Thoughts?

    check out TBM. Spear units are much better. It still needs more work but I'm waiting for Byzantine boy to release a patch. Someone mentioned a patch was due soon.

    Actually makourian spearmen are great and in case of my gameplay are the core units of most any army pack
