    Icon3 Reviving this mod

Hi all, I think the idea of this mod is great. But it needs some polishing. I might want to revive this mod, but what about copyrights, will it be an issue if I release it as a submod, with new factions, new environments, new buildings, new units, bug fixes, e.t.c. If it isn't an issue, is there anyone who wants to help me? I'm looking for historians and people who have some experience in creating new factions.

I don't think there will be an issue for copyright if you release it as a submod or a patch. There are some people who tried to revive this mod.

But I think they are no longer working on this mod anymore. Anyway, I'm looking forward to your redone mod for alexander.

I think there is no problem if you label it as a submod and give all due credits. I am really excited to hear that you intend to work on this mod. I have long desired to play Alexander campaign in the graphical and gameplay standards of up-to-date RTW mods like RTR VII or RSII.

If you make it as submod is legal, in general whatever you will do based on this mod give credits.

Razor what kind of help do you need? Units? Stats? Scripting? Buildings? Ancillaries?

I would like to propose to you to make a list of factions and units what do you think?

I first want to focus on implementing the map, bug-fixing and re-balancing unit stats and such, also I want to give the units better animations, the next step is to add new factions and giving the barbarian factions better rosters. For now I want to keep vanilla aesthetics, this can be changed later.

I am also interested in a good, polished Alexander the Great mod. I've been reading up on the latest books on Alex and would like to relive his campaigns in the RTW engine (never even thought of playing vanilla Alexander). Wish you luck!

If you want you could join the modding team
Right now I'm trying to get a team together and start working. We would also need to set up git or svn.
