Franchask worked on the mold and vegetation until he uncovered the door, slightly decayed from the damp but still operational as he tried the latch... It was unlocked and the door could be slid to the right retreating into a cavity in the wall...

And now before him... Was more vegetation, covering this side of the wall like it had on his side...

Taking a moment, Franchask tried to part the vegetation slightly, getting a small glimpse into the next room... Which was dark but was lightly lite by candles spread around the edges, it was a large room, at least three times the room now behind him... There was a water fountain in the center of the room, it was running and masking all other sounds...

Moderation:

Franchask hissed in consternation as he saw the flickering candles placed around the room. The room clearly saw more frequent use than he had anticipated and who ever had lit so many candles was likely to be close by.

As quietly as he possibly could, Franchask continued to cut and tear away the hanging vegetation that blocked his path. Once it had been sufficiently removed for him to enter, he closed the rotting door behind him he kept to the left and made his way along the southern wall.

Staying to the shadows, Franchask moved slowly so that he could observe as much of the room as possible before approaching the well lit fountain. Although he could see a door just to the right of the one he had entered from, the Nathair resolved to fully investigate the large chamber before leaving, lest any unnoticed enemy attack him from behind.

Once he investigated the edges of the room, he would peer into the fountain and examine what lay there.

[Iron Aquilifer]

Valip did not pause to look up at the skirmish being fought around him, instead focusing everything on hacking away at the last few knots barring him from freedom.

With a silence cry of triumph, the Arron escaped his momentary captivity. Struggling free of the bonds, Valip clambered out of the next, exchanging the knife for his blades. Recovering at least an illusion of the situation, he threw himself into the hounds attacking Shendelzare. With the skeleton sword leading, the escaped prisoner went with a spiraling strike, more tornado than man.

Fast. Agile. Untouchable. These were the keys to his movements. Fluid. Water moving from lake to river, river to ocean. And all the time, his arms were swinging, driving the cold steel forward.

Cursing at the hound that bit her, Shendel's resolve strengthened. Putting more power into her blow, she aimed for the wounded one's eyes with her good sword. "Help me here!" She informed the other members of the crew. "I'm outnumbered!"
