Tibetan, Indo-European and even Hindu. It's so surprising to see that symbol in so diverse culture groups. Italian peninsula is imo is a unique piece of geography. In the midst of mediterra and open to cultural influence of Hellenes, Celts, Phoenicans. This is a strong place for cultural fusion.
To portray this unique culture i made an extensive research decided to cover all Italiot units not only the Romans. Because we had only Roman shields and couple Samnite models but that was just not enough. We have now over 100+ unique shields (full italian peninsula) and this sets us apart from other projects what was my intend. From Hellenic symbolism to Celts and to native Latins you'll notice the intended diversity of looks. This preview shows only half of the done work.
