Who can face the power of Rome?
Only Carthaginians, and this is an overview of their units.
OFFICERS
In this image we can see (from left to right) the musician, the carthaginian general, his officer and finally the standard.
CARTHAGINIAN UNITS
Carthage is a commercial empire, and it has very few "own" units, coming from the carthaginian land in Africa.
Here the infantry units: Kêna'ani K-Kart-Hadašt (poeni infantry), Mda Libiaka- Kêna'ani (libyan infantry) and Mda Räbhab (archers).
Cavalry units: Ba'al parash Kêna'ani (poeni cavalry) and Ba'al parash Nomades (numidian cavalry).
Don't forget the Habbim (elephants) and Kabhed habbim (heavy elephants, in the image)
MERCENARY UNITS
Carthaginian armies are fed up with troops recruited in the zones of carthaginian influence, mainly the Iberian peninsula.
This are the infantry units: Mda I-Shaphan (mastieni), Ba'le yaroh (balearic slinger) and Kabhed Mda I-Shaphan (scutati).
The Iberian tribes also contribute with cavalry units: Ba'al parash I-Shaphan (celtiberian cavalry) and Kabhed ba'al parash I-Shaphan (edetani cavalry).
Finally some gallic units incorporated in the carthaginian army: Kabhed Keltoi (gallic infantry) and Keltoi (gallic levies).
We'll see if they are capable of changing history!
