Fall of Kingdoms:
An Age of Charlemagne modification
Hi all!
I've really been enjoying Fall of Charlemagne, however I felt like it was missing something. Then it hit me; it's a perfect landscape for a middle-ages and early viking age mod. I felt that a lot of the changes from the old M2 engine were perfect for the era.
Mod Description:
It's the year 868. The Great Heathen Army has been ravaging England for two years; the Kingdom of Northumbria has fallen to the Danes, and both Mercia and Ireland are under siege by armies of heathens from the North. The great empire of Charlemagne is broken - divided into petty kingdoms between his grandchildren and their children. Their kings squabble, and rise in rebellion against each other.
It will take a stronger ruler than has been seen in many years to bring together the fractured kingdoms of Middle-Earth...

Mod Features:
This mod aims to recreate the years between 868-1068 (tentative dates). There will be the standard 4 turns per year, and feature an overhaul of many factions and rosters to more fit the era. The world is changing, and as such, kingdoms will emerge to contest your rule.
I would really appreciate any feedback you have! I'm putting forth this proposal to the community to see what you guys think.
