Okay attempt 2 basically making this so SirMark doesn't have to constantly update the OP
these patches will basically include any bug fixes or missing features from the game. If you have any bugs or see anything missing please post them here so I can add them to the list
EDIT: Version 4B

changelog 4.B
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Updated Ui for Hyrule, Gerudo rons based on their guides (thanks INterlooper
The Goron and Zora techtree added from the guides aswell (two slight changes though... First level Goron mines aren't free but you will refunded upon completion, the Zora farms can be built anywhere but ony have an effect in an aquatic region, this is due toproblems I was having)
The NPC memebership projects are added, after absorbing an NPC you can upgrade the Land reserve int a specialised barracks, there can only be one a settlement (should point out most of them are placeholder names)
Haunts can now be absorbed through diplomacy, and all the benefits thereof
The Twili can be killed by taking Arbiters Grounds and defeating their last chance army (this army will spawn right away for the player, but will take around 5 turns for the ai to spawn)
The Stalofs can spread religion through graveyards, Labrynna through libraries
The new traits from the guide have been added, ive also added in a base set of traits for agents so they shouldn't always spawn with 0 skill
Added in Goron and Zora cost, upleep and time from the guide aswell

Fixed an issue with a few characters names

For the Haunts maybe give them just the graveyards with upgrade and anthore picture?
I did note you addet this to every building
construction_time_bonus_other 40 requires factions { zola, } and event_counter tokay_joined_zola 1
construction_cost_bonus_other 40 requires factions { labrynna, } and building_present_min_level uniquelabrynna factory
construction_cost_bonus_other 40 requires factions { twili, } and building_present_min_level uniquelabrynna factory
construction_cost_bonus_other 20 requires factions { ordona, } and building_present_min_level lumbermills lumbermill
You just have to add this to 1 building for traits to have effect
Best is a Building that always there like
core_castle_building
core_building
sorry if i was unclear
I did the hotfix but still taking rebel settlements seem to crash the game
If you can post your Crash Logs. That would be Great.
If you just want to keep playing instead of taking the time out to help us fix what ever bugs there are.
Then try turning down the Graphics settings of the game. The lower the better.
I hear this is a good way to get past that bug and maybe a few others that may still be around.

I'm not sure what your talking about. Could you explain what your talking about and in more detail.
All though tedster1995 seems to understand.
Hey tedster1995.
About this.
Poes Don't join a faction, as well as their bonus
Is this the case for all factions?
It could just be an Error in spelling/Grammar needed for code.
Or The Code that makes this happen. Has not been copied and edited for each faction.
About these.
[quote]
1) Twili Mirrors have stock peasant ui pic
2) Haunts use the Twili symbol
3) The ectowell buildings are missing
4) Missing Ui pictures for some buildings
5) Some units have un localised placement texts
[quote]
I assume You can get the needed Pics and text for them from Neph. So they should be a quick fix for you. If you are the one currently working on the Community patch.
I do have one bug to report. But I have only heard about it.
So same say that if you build the Twili Mirrors. You brake them.So you can no longer use them.
Those who say this. Say they could teleport to hyrule already with out building one.
So it's some thing to look in too. Maybe we can make a Restriction on how many building of one type a settlement can have.
....
Wait....
That's not right.....
Is it even possible to have several of the same buildings in one settlement?

So far I've been playing the 4.0 with the hotfix and haven't come across a single CTD or bug that I've been able to see for myself. I'll check out the Biggoron double model I've heard about to see if that is happening to me as well. But so far it seems like the hotfix has fixed everything for me.

Can you try to play the game on Max Or Highest Graphics settings? Or as much as your PC will allow. And see if you start to get Crashes and bugs.

I can do that. I'll test it out with my goron campaign so I can check on the Biggoron glitch as well. Any faction you'd like me to try specifically that has not been tested yet?

I have no specific faction I want you to test at this time. And I don't know what factions have already been tested.
So feel free to do as you like for this.

So, I just upped all the setting to the maximum they could be (either high or highest) and played 13 turns of my goron campaign (now at turn 33). So far, no crashes, no CTD's, only a little slowdown navigating the main map due to the max settings but barely noticeable and the only glitch I have found is that ladders don't reach the right height on the settlement walls of Paracle Bay.
Other than that, it is still working very smoothly. The only thing I could think of though is that there are no diplomats in the game anymore, as none of the factions can afford to build an embassy due to the high cost of upkeeping units. I've finally got my economy in the positive each turn at turn 33 and just began building my embassy as before I had no funds to do so due to the over-zealous attacking Lanaryu to the north. So maybe a minor tweaking of upkeep to allow for diplomacy to occur again is the only thing I would change so far. Otherwise, I'm loving it!
@Geblide- Ill try it again mabye if up the amount and put it into a different building from last time it will work it will make it easier for Neph as well
Eldren- Those lines of code are basically used for the Tokay NPC bonus and the construction reduction costs from the factory and the like. Also the Poe have no code that i can see, but its easy enough to write :p Ill look into the mirrors, it might be a 'not' command in the wrong place.
As for the double Biggoron hlitch, i believe that is an issue with Medieval 2 itself, if a boss/one man unit is a general there is a chance the game will make another one because of how the bodyguard mechanics work. I recall third age having a similar problem with Sauron and the Balrog.
As for embassy i think a cost reduction would help since it only lets you recruit a single agent it shouldnt be too expensive all things considered.
I would like to do/see a Campaign. Where I or some one's lets play Is doing an Ikana+Garo+Poe VS Hyrule+Shiekah+Wizzrobes.
But for that. The Poes need to work.
Meaning this needs to be fixed/hammered out before I or anyone else can do it.
Poes Don't join a faction, as well as their bonus
The ectowell buildings are missing
On that topic. Is any one Willing to do a Lets-play about an Ikana+Garo+Poe VS Hyrule+Shiekah+Wizzrobes Campaign? And My idea was that the player was Ikana.
Any one interested? Once Poes are fixed that is.

I think we could try both separately. And see which one people prefer. I my self would like to try out having each and every capitol in game having 1 Prebuilt embassy at game start. I like this idea for a few reasons.
1) This way the map is not flooded with Diplomat.
2) You don't have to spend the first few turns of every campaign Building an embassy instead of a different Building. Saves Time and Rupees.
3) And the first few turns is when it matters the most for Diplomats.
4) You and the AI Factions don't have to take away from your military Growth which you would have spent on that embassy.
5) All the AI Factions will actually do Diplomacy now. From game start instead of maybe waiting a long time to do so, if at all. Because the AI doesn't have to deside on if they will -1- Build an embassy. -2- Save the money needed to build an embassy. -3- Train a Diplomat instead of a different unit.
But there is a problem with both Ideas of the embassy.
Whether it's Prebuilt embassies or Cheaper embassies. Or even keeping the game as is for them.
All of this will effect the flow for the World map in many ways. For example; Some factions will be better off and do better on the world map than others for one option, And it could be the complete reverse for another option.

So for that pic you should. His authority Must be low compared to what a King is, in the Base game of Medieval 2 Total War.

Hmm, I thought about doing a kind of Quest/AAR hotseat campaign on this forum where either A: It's just an AAR with some numerous commentary in hotseat, or B: in which people will get to decide what every faction does by voting, managing funds, military's and politics of every faction that isn't a minor one.

Okay so I've made a start and a few minor text issues have been fixed ill continue to update the OP with new bugs and highlight them in green when they are fixed Also buildings that give a cost reduction will now say it in their description.
