ROP v2.2 - Release Thread [Requires RTW 1.5]
ROP v2.22 Patch - Release Thread [Requires ROP v2.2]

Installation Instructions

1. Download 'ROP v2.2 full installer'
2. Install the file you just downloaded it to the root of a clean, unmodded RTW 1.5 installation (often “C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome – Total War”)
   WINDOWS VISTA USERS:
   Please right-click on the file you just downloaded and select 'Run as Administrator' from the drop-down menu. It's normally the second option from the top.
3. Download 'ROP v2.22 patch' and install it according to step 2.
   If you have experienced battle CTDs just during or after entering the battle map, install the optional bugfix too
4. Play ROP by clicking the shortcut called 'Rise of Persia' on your desktop

No this only works for RTW 1.5. I've added that info to the first post now, sorry that it wasn't there already.

How can i download your mod ? And what is the most current version ? I have RTW 1.5 Gold Edition (DVD -including BI).

Your version of RTW is good - though BI probably won't work properly afterwards.
I recommend making a copy of your RTW folder and installing ROP to that.

No, we haven't designed it to work with BI - though if you have BI 1.6, you automatically have 1.5 as well, so you can install ROP.

I got crash everytime I shut down "Unit shaders" in battle settings. Thought that might be a bug. Please check it out

Is there any reform in Sparte or Athen spearmen to Phalanx? I saw no phalanx in their troops.

The unit shaders thing is a known issue indeed - we advise to just leave it turned on. Tests on internal versions have shown that the next version of ROP won't have this issue though.

There has been alot of discussion about the phalanx abilities, and there still is from time to time, but the kind of phalanx offered with RTW isn't accurate for our timeframe. See this discussion for many pros and cons: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=99122
