I figure out a fix to the common problems.
READ THESE BOLD INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.
Download all the stuff you needs (obvious)
1. Install the core games by selecting
in order 1, 2, 3 DO NOT SELECT MODS, MAKE SURE IT POINTED AT THE GAME FOLDER
Ex: C:\Program Files (x86)\Medieval 2 Total War Gold <-- Example of a correct path
Ex: C:\Program Files (x86)\Medieval 2 Total War Gold/mods <---
NOT A CORRECT PATH
2. Install patch #1 first
then launch your language ex: Select ENG then install patch #2 then again
select the SAME languages you wants to use again ex: ENG
3. Install the hot fixes, starting from the bottom first (the oldest hotfix most likely to be safe), but most likely doesn't matter.
The game will still crash, the reason? The .bat file is denied access to kingdoms.exe
YOU MUST BE ADMINISTRATOR TO DO THIS OR YOU'RE OUT OF LUCK
Find your kingdom's folder this is easy by right clicking on RodG shortcut and selecting 'Open File location'
Click on the program files path to to something like this -->: Ex: C:\Program Files (x86)\ look for your medieval folder and select it, right click, and do the following:
Select PROPERTIES
Select SECURITY
You should see an option that said 'To change permission click Edit'
Select Edit
Select Users (ex: Plattytheplatypus-PC)
Select Full control or all the options listed.
Select Apply then Okay
You might get the game to work and load just fine, but now it's in a small window box. This is how you change it.
Right click on RodG 1.6 and go to 'Open File Location' and look for Configuration
Change THESE options to these. Save and replace with only these changes and you're good to go.

I hope I helped people.
