Historic Information:

The White huns Invaded Persia from Bactria. But before that the White Huns raided through the lands of central Asia from Western China, Kazakhstan and Russia. They then proceeded to invade the Kushan Empire that ruled over parts of India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. I want that historic background to be better reflected in the White Huns Unit roster with this mod.

Gandahar Avavarskars and Archers:

Gandahar is a region of northern Pakistan that was part of the Kushan Empire. Since the days of the Hellenic Bactrian Kingdom we have a good Idea of what the Warriors of that regions looked like:







Kushan Hillmen and Ambushers:

Warriors from the Northern Regions of Afghanistan, known back then as Bactria.



Kushan Gaulmikas:

Shortly before the Huns conquered the Kushan Empire it became a Sassanid Satrapie in the east due to it`s weakening power position. The Sassanids sent elite heavily armoured governers and troops to enforce loyalty to the Sassanids in the region.




Gandaharan Elephants:

Elephants were used for warfare in India long before the Persians used them. And of course, Indian elephants would be far better trained for that purpose than the Persian equivalent. The armour you see on these elephants is based on pictures from a history book on ancient Indian warfare.

Chuban Warriors:

The Chuban were a Turkic tribe located in the the far Western parts of China. They were conquered by the Yueban tribe who were allied to the Huns and early Mongolians.

Yueban Horselords:

The Yueban were a Turkic-Chinese tribe living in the steppes of North-West China. They eventualy would conquere several smaller tribes, were allied to the Huns and early Mongolians. They also regulary harassed and raided Persian and indian settlements.
