Gondor captures W. Osgiliath (empty). Thengel and Theoden join Theodred as Rohan captures Foldburg, slaying Saruman in the battle. Theodred then rushes to Isengard where spies open the gates and the dark tower is sacked.

Sorry guys, this slipped my mind. However, I kinda feel lately that I need to take a rest from hotseating. This has nothing to do with the current situation of the Evil Team. I guess I'm beginning to get tired of hotseating in general. Maybe it has something to do with playing multiple factions at once (here) and a very tiresome, chunky SS hotseat, which had passed the 25 turn mark (over at Main). For this reason, to my great regret, I did not enter the Westeros tournament. This decrease of interest in playing hotseats has also led to me being late on multiple occasions, which I would not even imagine happening a few months ago...

I'm not saying that I'm quitting hotseating for good. I may return to it at a later point. What's more, I will probably keep on playing in 1-2 hotseats, just for conclusion. Hope you're not really mad at me for this.

So Chieftain is now the only evil player. Great. It seems that we either find a replacement for some factions, or Chieftain has to bear that burden on his own.

An alternate (crazy?) proposal if neither of those options will work, is to have one of the good players switch to evil and have the other two good players split the remaining good factions. But this is a last resort IMO. If Chieftain takes over a week to play all the evil factions, that to me is preferable to this (or the hotseat dying).

Captainnorway is one potential replacement, if he's interested and has time. Can anyone think of any others?

Well I think there is another more important question at hand. Do we really want to continue this HS? A couple of turns ago we determined that evil is lost, now that Isengard also suffered a big defeat, the situation is even more hopeless..
