Help us promote The Fourth Age: Total War (please!)

For those who have Rome on Steam, a reminder that you can go to the Community part of Steam for Rome and submit screenshots, guides, let's play video series, discussion comments, etc. Steam has a lot of traffic and it'd be great if the profile of the Dominion of Men could be raised on that platform

The place to leave a rating is just below where the overall rating appears, on the right sidebar. I'm not sure if you need to sign up to do it or not, guests should be able to leave a /10 score regardless.

That's a good idea.
As an aside, I just saw that on a guide for Roma Surrectum, the name of the mod is censored in Steam

I had thought to place the mod on Wikipedia but the editors there tell me that it can only be included if the mod is "notable". In order to prove this notability it needs references to mainstream publishers/sites that are outside of the general in-house community so to speak. Unfortunately, though FATW has been featured in such publications, it was quite some time ago and I cannot find any archive of them online. PC Games (German) and PCGamer UK are two that come to mind. If anyone can find anything online of this ilk, I'd be grateful. Thank you.

Incidentally, has anyone tried making a separate article on the "TV Tropes" wiki? They don't have the "notability" criterion (or at least, they were explicitly opposed to it in the past).

FATW has a TVTropes page somewhere, though I'm not sure if it's been updated recently (or, indeed, how to do it). Is TVtropes considered notable? I should not think so...

Reviews that have ratings would be best, but I think that was likely from PCGamer UK... the wiki reference is best served by a statistic such as a review rating or number of downloads. FATW had hundreds of thousands of downloads but this was long before we were chiefly hosted on moddb and those stats are lost.

We simply do not have the notability to be approved for Wiki. "Wikipedia requires significant coverage about the subject in reliable sources that are independent of the subject". The information must be "verifiable" and there must be "clear evidence of why the subject is notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia".

We must hope to get some new "notability" in such sources before this can be pursued.

Meanwhile, TolkienGateway.net does allow for us to put up a wiki page BUT it needs to be done by someone who is a member (it's free to join but only members who have made a certain number of posts and been with them for a certain amount of time (I think it is not many days) can create the advanced page we would need. Is anyone a member of this site and would they be willing to create the wiki page? I already have a lot of the page code ready, it would just need some polishing/configuring.

If anyone is on Tolkiengateway (or wants to join) then please add FATW to the TW mods. I've tried twice and they keep deleting it, but will not communicate with me properly. I've given up.
