That's quite the clickbait title you've got there; this was not the sort of thread I was expecting.
was not expecting that either roma
So are these models supposed to be some sort of evidence for the racial superiority of the Dutch over the Swedes? I'll say this at least: I'd rather hear a Dutch person speak than a Swede. I just think Dutch rolls off the tongue in a nicer way. But that's just language, has nothing to do with genetics.
The title is just me for filling me duty and obligation as a norwegian to trash talk swedes.

Actual war games... Yay!
The Earth is inhabited by billions of idiots.
The search for intelligent life continues...
Those uniforms on the Caroleans were just fantastic. Lends itself really well to the models there.
basically how americans casually make fun of canada

February is long past and not even close to the full 8 squadrons. But i got 5 now. 30 men and horses.
. The front center standard barer is Liutenant Engebakken the ancestor to my fiance, But he has to be a Norwegian, Because she refuses to have a Swede in her liniage(Bad enough I'm only a few generations removed swede on both sides)

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga- The pranks played on the knight Jean de Joinville, 1249, 7th crusade.I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

Thanks.
The Duch are nine years war.
So 1688 to 1697
The Swedish are Great Northen War so 1700-1721 But most of my swedes will be based on the battle of Poltova in 1709 So will the russians when I do them.
My Danes when I do them will be around 1710, and Saxons 1712
Finished another unit of warefare swedes. This time Jönköping.
Alright keep it up. Was their banners that big though or is that artistic licence to show of your prowess in the painting department?
I just noticed that each officer looked more eccentric than the one before, nice touch.

Yes it does take a few hours. It's about a day of semi intese painting pr. 4-6 figures.
Do you paint those banners? they are gorgeous.
Nope my freehand painting skills are below that a three year olds colouring book.
They are bought the same place as the figures
